Your tour will begin on Pearson Street (off Michigan Avenue), where you will board your coach vehicle. On board, an experienced guide narrates during your tour of Chicago’s famed criminal and historical sights. Listen to thrilling stories of mobsters, violence and crime as your coach winds through Chicago’s historic River North, Gold Cost, Lincoln Park, Old Town, Loop and Magnificent Mile. Snap pictures and enjoy little-known tales of legendary mobsters Al Capone, ‘Terrible’ Tommy O’Conner, and Bugs Moran.
Your mafia tour highlights Chicago’s most notorious crime scenes, including the courthouse where some of the most famed mob cases were tried, and the site of the grisly 1929 St. Valentine’s Day Massacre. Other notorious mob haunts you do a drive-by on are the Biograph Theater and Holy Name Cathedral. (Along the way, you can hop out of your ride for pictures.) When it's all over, you'll get a ride back to the Near North Side to end the tour.

- There is no onsite office.
- Bus has five (5) steps and some stops off of the bus include stairs. Bus is NOT equipped with an electronic lift. There is limited storage available for a folding wheelchair or stroller.
- Audio and video recording and services are not permitted without the express written consent of Chicago Crime Tours and Experiences.
- Kindly refrain from talking or translating on the bus during the tour.

This is a mobile semi-history lesson (not sure if all of it was true or folk lure). You don't get to actually get off the bus and see the places. There are only 2 stops on this tour.

Very informative with details most people would not be aware of.
Ethan was excellent and energetic, though a little “smarmy” with all the innuendo jokes.
Even if some “facts” were exaggerated a little, it added to the intrigue learning about such infamous characters.

The host was fantastic and his delivery was spot on. He kept it lighthearted and funny while still making it informative and interesting.
I thought this was going to be a gangster tour with a focus on Al Capone, but they presented generations of crime stories, from the Chicago’s origins to the Crack dealing McDonalds employees.
I was young when the Tylenol scare occurred and to go past the Walgreens where it happened was also interesting.
The only negative feedback I can give is the bus broke down outside of Harry Cary’s and we had to figure out how to get back to the neighborhood we started in. Obviously this was a one off and I would not judge to tour by an unforeseen.
Great tour and worth the price of admission.

We had the kindest people from the moment we walked off the plane into Chicago. If you only believe what is in the news, you would never travel outside of your house. I strongly recommend that people need to come to Chicago. Be smart know the areas, but the majority of Chicago is so fantastic. Would love to come back again and again.

I feel that the message to all of us was that there are no restrooms to use during this tour but we were able to the use the bathroom in the Harry Carey’s restaurant. It is important for us older people to have this available to us if we need it. I don’t understand why they wouldnt let us know. Most Of us did have to use the restroom. We were back on the bus in time. This was my only downside to this tour.

I thought this would be a fun, informative way to see Chicago. It was not. We only got off the bus 2 times very briefly. We would stop and be told to look out the window once in a while. The ac on the bus was lacking and the DVD player wasn't working properly. Disappointing. You can learn more from a google search.

This was an excellent tour!!! Guide was EXTREMELY engaging and knowledgeable. My only regret was that there was no picture opportunity at the location where the Valentines Day Massacre occurred. That would have boosted the experience to the next level. 10 out of 10 recommend.

Great tour with lots of information on the beautiful Chicago River. Tess, our tour guide, was great and covered a lot of ground (water?) in a short amount of time. Our boat was full and we had to sit on the side which was not ideal -- get there at least 15-20 minutes before departure time to get a good seat.

It’s informative and interesting . If gives a history of the criminals in the early years of Chicago. The narrator was enthusiastic and fun , it was a great way to get familiar with the city and finding your way around the downtown area .

Great tour guide about mob history. However, it's a good idea to fact check. For example Al Capone did not have a funeral service at Holy name cathedral.He was denied a service because of his dark history of a murder and bullet hole in structure. The service was in Miami and he was buried in Chicago
We did go back to the Harry Carrey restaurant and the food was excellent!
