The views were amazing and the service was outstanding. Heather was our waitress and she did a fantastic job. She was very friendly and went above and beyond her duties for us. She also came out to the deck and informed us a little before each course of the meal was served which was an added bonus. At the end of the cruise, she made sure we didn’t miss the spectacular view of the city.

The view of the skyline was beautiful, but this is also offered by other tour boats. The food wasn't bad, but unfortunately, it is served luke warm and the beef was bland.
There is an upcharge for some items which ranged from $35.00-$250.
Very limited, dancing space but waiters are very courteous and attentive.
Great for a special occasion.
BEWARE! 455 N.CItyfront Plaza is the address to a high rise building upstairs on the upward street level. You must walk down the concrete stairwell to get to the river. Uber drivers seemed to get lost looking for this ship.
Because there are several ships, getting to the correct ship, can be very confusing. The glass top boat, doesn't have a name attached to the description. It only state that it is the premiere dinner cruise and it doesn't leave from the Navy Pier, so leave early in case you get lost.
Overall I give the experience a 3 star, but certainly not a 5.

Gabriel the waitress was horrible. She was rude, intentionally made us last for everything. When we asked for service she would not return or say she forgot. The boat was nice however, the service Gabriel) was horrible!! Never again

I read a lot of the reviews about how hard the boarding dock is to find, so here is a great tip if you plan on driving. We parked in the NBC tower SOUTH lot using Spot Hero but just Google the address and shop around. The address is 219/225 E. North Water Street. The thing to know about the address however, is that it’s LOWER N. Water St. So I put 400 N. McClurg into my GPS and right before getting there, turned right (West) on North Water, which will take you straight to the lower part. Parking lot is on the left and looks like it’s entirely open air, but if you pull in and make a right to the covered part, you will be a two minute walk away from the dock. No stairs. No confusion. Also Rudy, our server on the boat, was fantastic.

It was extremely cold inside of the boat. Air conditioning was on at a very cold and uncomfortable temperature. My date was freezing. Which took away from the experience.
It was a 65’ degree day outside, in the daytime.. and around 45’ degrees inside the boat.
After informing the staff several times to please turn off the unnecessary cold air, they stopped lol kept it on.

Our experience with city cruises was memorable, we will never forget it, I proposed to my girlfriend it was the perfect setting. The whole crew was great. Heather was very tentative love her, she spoke with Alberto and toke extra care of us, food, dessert, all were excellent. Will consider them for hosting our wedding. Thank you for everything!
I do want to make sure and mention that traffic is bad so please give your self time to arrive on time and to find a parking spot.

The impossible meeting point for this ship, which if followed to the GPS location brings you to a parking lot. Why not just say meeting at the city cruise booth at the river directly down from the staircase. Almost missed the cruise based upon the 455 north cityfront plaza.

If you are going to do anything in the city, this is a must! Absolutely beautiful views of the city that can't be seen from land. Pricey for sure, but worth the experience.

We took our mother out on a summer cruise for Mother’s Day. She loved it. The views were great and the food was good. The only thing was the service wasn’t great they weren’t really attentive, for example we had to ask multiple times for refills on our drinks. Overall it was a good experience.

The directions didn’t match the website had to call the number listed to get information on where to go to be directed to a different address form the site and ended up wasting all of our time trying to locate the place that we couldn’t get on the boat.

I bought for my husband and my two babies I arrived and boarded with my son but my husband looked for parking and got lost I try to get there but I didn't make it the boat left and I had to get off with the cold it was I'm waiting for them to give me a new date but they tell me that I lost the money and they can't give me another day however I'm still waiting because there they told me that I could change it for another day, please there were 3 tickets that I bought it's unfair that for bad information the money is lost, they must specify for those who have never gone right there that there is parking if I had known any of this I saw past and I could enjoy together with my husband his birthday.

I was really impressed by the crowd, and what I loved even more was how each person gave me a warm welcome. The place was spotless - from the glasses to the bathrooms, and the tables were clean too. The dinner was delicious and I was pleasantly surprised to find out that the prices were very reasonable. The best part was that coffee was on the house! The staff was extremely polite and made sure that I had the best experience possible. Both the DJ and the chef came to each table to ask how everything was. Overall, it was an excellent experience. Would I recommend it? Absolutely, 100%!

This was an amazing experience for my husband and I. We were celebrating our 1 year anniversary and the staff was amazing. Very attentive and accommodating. Our Server Edgar was amazing. From beginning to end it was amazing.

Do not use Viator to book a cruise with City Cruises. First, you may not get your date confirmed or it will get changed at the last minute. I got to the line at City Cruises and they told me they never got the confirmation from Viator my date was moved. Even after showing City Cruises my confirmation email, the manager of City Cruises made me wait until 5 minutes before departure before letting me and my 10 person party on the boat. It was a mess. I will never use Viator or City Cruises again. Sticking with Shoreline from now on. Oh and the menu was really limited. For what you pay, you'd be better of going out to dinner and catching a cheaper boat.

The views were so amazing on this cruise! I loved that we could go to the back deck and front deck at anytime during the cruise!
All of the food was amazing too! My partner and I each got something different, so we could try everything! We loved the courses and the drinks too! Our servers Heather and Octavian were so great, funny, approachable, and good at their job! So happy to have them wait on us and get to know them! We would definitely do this again and recommend it to anyone!
