Explore the whole island. Don’t just stay near the ferry drop off. Make sure to see the cottages. Super cute

Paco our driver was great and on time to pick us up in the morning and when we returned from the tour. The tour guide, Jonathan, was really nice and very knowledgeable of the island. Would recommend this trip.

This tour was very informative, not rushed, very enjoyable. Having a guide that was born and raised on Martha’s Vineyard, made the tour more personal. Along the route people would recognize John and wave. Both John, our guide, and Paco our van driver from Boston, were courteous and friendly.

Welll worth the full day tour which included the drive to the ferry and the 3 hour tour of Martha’s Vineyard. Our driver Pan was punctual, had drinks and snacks for the group and provided essential information to get us to and from the island. Tour is definitely worth it.

Wonderful Experience. A special "thank you" to Pan for a safe drive and an extra stop to the Lighthouse. The views were in incedible. Pan has a great personality. He was able to kindly answer all our questions. Also, Pan went out of his way to drop off at the "Cheers Bar" on the way back so we didn't have to pay for another Uber. Thank you Pan for a wonderfl day!!!

Excellent tour… would highly recommend this tour. Great communication between Paco our first guide, punctual, attentive, caring, informative and professional. Gave us up-to-date information on how our day would go ie ferry times etc. and meeting John our other guide once on Martha’s Vineyards. Paco was a steady driver too, especially as roads were busy on return journey home.
John was a great guy, again, knew his stuff, kept us on schedule, gave us loads of information, showed us how the other half lived lol … great host! This tour was over 12 hours ~ it flew in!! Don’t think twice, just book it! Oh, a wee drink & bag of crisps are thrown in too!

We did this tour without the on site Martha's Vineyard tour. That was a separate tour with another tour group once you arrive in the island. The to and from the ferry was just basically a Uber or Taxi ride. Our driver, Paco, never talked to us. We stopped three times on the way: once to show us the site of a canal (it was a vape break for him), McDonalds for a 50-minute breakfast, and to a lighthouse. The 50 Minute breakfast was 5-10 minute drive to the cute town of Woods Hole (I think that was the name) where we caught the ferry, and we could have gone there to grab a bite at one of the very cute coffee and pastry shops there. At the 3rd stop, he just said, "this is a lighthouse," and we got out, walked to see it, got back in the van and left for the ferry. We enjoyed our day on Martha's Vineyard, but the way home is the worst part. When we got back to the van, he started asking if I would do a review for him, which isn't unusual, and I said we would. However, when we got in the van to wait for the others, he asked us again, and I explained that I would when I got the reminder for it like I usually do, but he said, "No, can you give me a 5-star review and don't go past that page yet, but let me take a picture of it to send to my company." I told him that was strange, that I'd never had a tour operator as to take a pic. Felt pressured to give 5 stars, he took a pic, but then I backed out to complete the review later, and I'm glad I did. He vaped the entire way back, changed his speed between 55mph to 75mph randomly (on the highway so there were no speed limit changes), and worst of all, his phone was on a split screen, part was the map, but the other part was a video game he was playing. I have video of both the vaping and then video playing. When we got closer to Boston, he stopped playing the video game, but he turned on the soccer game and started watching that. Several times his car alert notified him to keep his hands on the wheel.
The Martha's Vineyard tour portion was offered by a separate company on the island; so the other people in our van who did that tour said it was great.

We had a wonderful experience on our Martha’s Vineyard excursion! Our driver, Willy, was exceptional—knowledgeable, friendly, and truly went above and beyond to make sure my husband and I had a fantastic day. He kept us informed every step of the way, providing timely updates on pickups, ferry schedules, and exactly where to meet our guide on Martha’s Vineyard.
The ferry ride itself was beautiful and a relaxing way to begin our adventure. Upon arrival, Mark from Martha’s Vineyard Tours & Excursions was waiting at the designated meeting point, ready to welcome us. His enthusiasm for the island was contagious, and his deep knowledge came from more than 60 years of living there. We learned so much and gained a real appreciation for the island’s history, culture, and charm.
While it was a long day, it was absolutely worth it. For first-time visitors to Martha’s Vineyard, this tour is an excellent way to experience the island and make the most of your visit.

Beyond his control, driver was late. He told us his tours go over and we were all hungry by that point. We did some driving around, then went to get lobster rolls, then more driving around. The rolls were good, but not great. The vineyard was pretty and the driver thorough. I got a good nap in. Island is pretty, but I liked Kennebunkport much better as there is way more to see and do on that excursion.
Response from Host, Jun 2026
Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback about the excursion. We truly appreciate your honest comments, as they help us improve our services.
We have looked into what happened on that day. While the driver was indeed late due to circumstances beyond his control, our tour guide immediately contacted the excursion provider’s customer service as soon as the issue was noticed. A replacement driver was arranged and arrived approximately 25 minutes later.
We understand your frustration, especially being hungry and feeling that the itinerary lacked direction. Please know that your comments about the pacing of the tour, the quality of the lobster rolls, and your preference for Kennebunkport have been carefully noted and shared with the relevant team.
That said, we are glad to hear that you enjoyed the vineyard, found the driver thorough, and managed to get some rest during the trip. We also appreciate your honest comparison between the two destinations.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by the delay. Please be assured that we will continue to work with our local partners to ensure a smoother and more enjoyable experience for our guests in the future.
Thank you again for your valuable feedback.

Absolutely worth it. the drive up isn't bad, you don't really notice it because there's stuff to look at. marginal way in ogunquit was the surprise of the day, the views are incredible, didn't want to leave. kennebunkport was nice for a quick walk around. portland old port we had like 2 hours which was enough to grab lunch and wander a bit. lobster was fresh, ate way too much. portland head light was a nice ending, super photogenic. tour guide was really sweet and patient, gave us good tips throughout the day and made sure everyone was doing okay. solid trip overall

Took this from Boston and the ferry ride alone was honestly one of the best parts. Nantucket Sound was super pretty and the 35 min crossing flew by. Oak Bluffs is exactly what you see in photos, those gingerbread cottages don't even look real in person. Got to ride the Flying Horses Carousel which was a fun little throwback. Edgartown's the kind of place you wanna just wander around. Guide knew her stuff and didn't rush us at any of the stops.

Absolutely loved this! Smooth ferry ride, easy pace, and plenty of time to soak in Oak Bluffs and Edgartown. The gingerbread cottages and lighthouses made for the perfect day away from the city.
