The boats depart from Rowes Wharf, located directly behind the Boston Harbor Hotel, located at (for GPS) 400 Atlantic Avenue, Boston (02110). Check-in at Rowes Wharf is located in the Ferry Terminal, a climate controlled public space, located on the wharf only steps away from our dock. If you are lost or running late, please call us.

This was an amazing cruise. This was my family's first time on a boat and we loved every minute. The scenery was beautiful and the boat was such a fantastic experience. The food and drinks were great. I would highly recommend this experience. My family and I can't wait until we visit Boston again. Thank you for the memories.

Food taste great. The turkey is moist and taste great with their cranberry sauce. Relaxing 1.5 hr Cruise. Not too crowded even though there were 5 seats left at time of booking. Easy to find location. Timely. Clean. Friendly crew.

The boat ride was very relaxing and the crew was great. There was lots of room on the boat, so no issues with finding a table. The food was OK, and my glass of wine was reasonably priced. Unfortunately there wasn’t any fall foliage to be found. We didn’t even really go by places that had lots of trees. They should give this tour a different name.

The food was surprisingly good. The turkey and pork were very flavorful and tender. Good rice pilaf. Breads were a little hard but desserts quite good.
Tour was good but not much foliage to see.

The food, staff, and boat were lovely. However, we thought it was a foliage tour and it was just a harbor tour. It could have been a bit longer and gone beyond the harbor.

My experience was disappointing. There was no foliage to view, which I understand is totally dependent on fall temperatures. There was only a few times when the captain came on the speaker to note anything ‘interesting’ and then was hard to hear or understand. The lunch was good, but the company ran out of dessert and what was offered was packaged cookies, which were underwhelming.

We are sorry to hear that the trip had some disappointing aspects due to weather impacting the timing of the foliage color change, the dessert supply issue, and difficulty hearing the narration. We are actively troubleshooting the sound system and working to upgrade and improve the quality throughout the boat. We are also hoping to add future cruises with additional narration since many of our guest prefer minimal interruptions while others would prefer much more commentary. How is this even a thing? There isn’t even any foliage to see to be changing. We were driven straight out of the Boston Harbor to a tiny island and back. That was it. Unless you are just bored and have nothing else to do and need some Thanksgiving lunch-Do NOT book this trip!

While there is foliage in Boston Harbor and the islands we pass on our trips, the timing and intensity of the color change is highly variable from year to year and depends on weather factors that we unfortunately cannot control or predict in advance. We do our best to maximize the aspects of the trip that we can control, such as fall-themed food and decor. What wonderful lunch cruise. The captain gave us information about local history while we gently cruised around Boston Harbor! The food on the buffet was excellent with roasted pork loin, turkey, butternut squash ravioli, salad, saffron rice, garlic rolls, and brownies. Everything was delicious! My husband and I enjoyed this very much. The crew were also very nice and professional. When we finished eating, there were still all the sights to see. This a must do on a Boston visit!

We were disappointed because the tour was nothing like the description when we booked it. It was supposed to be a tour of Boston fall foliage and learning about the islands around it. We stayed in the inner harbor and just circled around it. We were served a delicious lunch onboard as advertised, however; I put a note in our reservation that we had a gluten free dairy free allergy, and when we boarded, our group member was only able to eat the meat served with no extra meal for her. We enjoyed our trip, but were looking forward to seeing what was advertised.

Enjoyed seeing Boston from the water and the food was very good. Wouldn’t call it a “fall foliage” tour as not much foliage could be seen since we toured the part of the harbor that was covered in buildings. Still fun nonetheless.

A very average cruise with nothing much to see on the harbour. Commentary was sparse and the whole journey seemed quite random. The buffet meal was ordinary with a quite-limited spread.

What an unexpectedly lovely experience. This lunch is perfect for anyone, I could do this alone.. it would be great as a date but I think it’s perfect for group and families. The food was the highlight it tasted home cooked and was really delicious. The boat isn’t the fanciest, but the service and the meal and ambiance is cozy and perfect for a warm or even a cold fall day. I highly recommend and would do this again.

The boat was absolutely beautiful! Our captain gave a nice narrated tour and pointed out points of interest. The buffet lunch was delicious! I highly recommend the fall lunch tour for anyone who’s interested in seeing Boston sights, eating a fantastic lunch, and relaxing on a 90 minute cruise.

It is marketed as a fall foliage tour but it’s more of a tour of the Boston harbor. It would have been nice if they would have marketed it for what it was. No trees were seen.

My new bride is also new to the U.S. and so I decided to take her on a cruise of Boston Harbor for some fun and sightseeing. We had a wonderful time and the gourmet lunch was great. The crew was very kind, informative and helpful. We used Viator to book the trip which was easy to use. I used them to book excursions when in Paris, France and was always a good experience. Will use them for future adventures for sure.

What a great way to see the city. From the dock crew to the snack clerk everyone was friendly and helpful. The person narrating the trip was also excellent. Would recommend this to my friends.

Fabulous harbor cruise!!!! Thoroughly enjoyed our excursion.. Captain was so informative - indicating all points of interest. Buffet was excellent with hot dishes consisting of pork loin, baked turkey with dressing & cranberry sauce, squash ravioli, potato salad, green salad and fresh baked rolls — with two decadent chocolate desserts that were simply heavenly. (Our cruise offered complimentary coffee.) W
And we luckily had the absolute perfect weather - over 75 degrees on October 27th (only in New England)!!! Fellows passengers said they’ve done them all and this is by far the best harbor cruise in Boston. I believe them.
