We had a lot of fun and learned a lot about the bridge and the bats. Our tour guides were friendly and hospitable! The scenery was beautiful!

Apparently I missed some key details by booking through this app. So when they changed launch time I didn’t get the email, guide sent a text 2 hours before that were were to arrive 30 minutes sooner! I was out and about and not paying attention to my phone. I was planning to arrive 10 minutes early but the address on google maps was in a residential neighborhood and got confusing for my driver to find. Still I got there at 6:30 as my booking confirmation had that as only time. Literally everyone was waiting and a few people had rude comments for me. I almost left. The guide could have just took part of the group sooner or stuck up for me. It was overall an amazing experience but the tone we started with did not feel good and felt entirely avoidable.
This was a bucket list trip, and it exceeded my expectations!!!the guides were knowledgeable and accessible. They both took the time to chat with me. The view of downtown was spectacular. And the bats!!!! I watched them from the north side of the bridge the other night, but the bats all head out the south side, so I knew I needed to get a better vantage point. Just wow!!!
Excellent guide and fun! Easy kayaking and great experience. We went under one bridge then saw bats on the other bridge. Looking forward to the photos!

The kayaking tour was absolutely amazing—I would give it a 20/10! The guides were hilarious, had the best personalities, and made the entire experience so much fun. They were incredibly friendly, made sure everyone felt safe, and went above and beyond to ensure everyone had a great time. It was a lot of fun, great time kayaking surrounded by amazing sights. John and Ross were very friendly and helpful for the entire duration of the tour. Seeing the bats from the water is an incredible view, and I learned some cool facts about bats and Austin.
It’s worth it. Organized and informative about the area. The after dark experience on the lake was beautiful.
We had an amazing evening! The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, the gear was all in good order, and the route to the bridge was beautiful! Really a must do experience if you are in Austin for a few days!
My daughter and I went and had a great time! The kayaking was awesome. We felt safe and the boat was clean. The actual tour with all of the bat facts from John was really amazing. We loved seeing the bats and the city skyline from the lake.

This was a great way to get a unique look at the Austin Skyline after dark. The guides provided very good information and direction to make it an enjoyable evening. It was truly amazing to see the bats come out from under the bridge and learn about the positive impact they make on surrounding area.
Be sure to plan for a lot of rowing to and from the Congress Street bridge. It is a pretty good work out, but it was also ALOT of FUN!
We were excited to go on the kayak bat tour. Unfortunately, Mother Nature had alternate plans and we were unable to go. Due to our schedule, we were also unable to reschedule. That being said, Nathan was wonderful to work with! Even though we didn't get to go on our tour, I would highly recommend the Boats and Bats kayak tour!

This activity was something very different my son and I did (he is 10) but boy are we glad we did it! Learned so much about the bats and the kayaking experience was great! It is a physically moderate type of activity so prepare yourselves!

We had a really good experience with this tour along with them partnering with Live, Love, Paddle. All of the guides were super friendly and informative and let you go at your own pace for the kayaking but made sure you were keeping up. We had a really good time and found that it was worth the money.

This was an awesome experience, super enjoyable. The staff were knowledgeable and really helpful. The bats are so cool and being on the water next to the city skyline as the sun sets is beautiful.

This has been on our bucket list for years and it did not disappoint! The experience was magical and the guides were helpful and informative. We felt safe and supported the whole time. Kayaking back, we were able to enjoy the lights of downtown and have a peaceful paddle back. Would absolutely do it again!
Although it seems a little disorganised getting everyone onto the water, the trip was very good. The guide- John- was very knowledgeable and we saw lots of bats.
A word of warning though, it is quite a way to row and when we were rowing back it was dark but also there was a head wind so it was quite tough - it’s about 3 miles of rowing altogether.

The kayaking experience was excellent. Our guides, John and Ross were very good and low key. But the most fantastic part was watching the bats emerge from the bridge. I will never forget it.
