What are people saying about Portland

Don’t miss this afternoon cruise!
This cruise was wonderful. Our captain. Lance was amazing and so was the guide Niko. I can’t say enough good things about them. Niko was so knowledgeable about all the sites & lighthouses we encountered on our cruise. Lance always had a few extra tidbits of information to add. He also was kind enough to rotate the boat once we reached each lighthouse so that everyone could get a photo in front of them. We saw Rams Island Ledge Lighthouse and my favorite was the Portland Head Lighthouse & we also saw & learned about Fort Gorges and ended at Bug Light Lighthouse. It was a fun & amazing tour!

Portland Trolley was a great choice
Great tour of Portland, ME. Our driver rode us through several residential areas and explained and shared stories and history of some homes. Love the Portland LightHouse visit. This was my 2nd visit to this beautiful sight. We walked from the Cruised Port and turned left. Our tour trolley picked us up there, which saved us about a 15 minute walk. It was a beautiful day in Portland. It's an interesting City to walk around. There were street vendors near the cruise port entrance.

Joe our Tour Guide was GREAT!
Very conveniently located meeting & check in location within a 5 minute walk from our Windstar/Star Pride ship docked in Portland, ME. Joe, our tour guide, was very nice, informative and accommodating. He offered us water during our trip and we had a Portland Beer Hub sample 3oz if their draft beer either before or after our tour. Very tasty!

As Maine’s largest city, Portland boasts a thriving (and growing) arts and culinary scene. Home to beautifully preserved Victorian-era buildings and the most photographed lighthouse in the world, it exudes a charming Old World ambiance. On Portland tours, local guides—often born-and-raised Portlanders—share lore and hidden gems as you explore the seaside city by foot, ship, vintage fire truck, or bicycle. After sightseeing, indulge in a seafood walking excursion and savor the quintessential Maine lobster roll, served simply with butter, never mayo, to discover what all the buzz is about.
