My favorite tour in NOLA!!

Hannah Kate was hands-down my favorite tour guide I had during my time in New Orleans. She did an incredible job balancing the history with all the fascinating stories along the way. She was engaging from start to finish and told every story with grace and passion. She was such a cohesive storyteller and kept the entire tour immersive, and engaging the whole time. You can tell she genuinely loves what she does and has so much respect for the history and craft behind it all. Honestly, her energy was so good that even a horse pulling a carriage walked right up to her during the tour, that pretty much summed up her vibe perfectly. She’s awesome! 10/10 would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for an unforgettable ghost tour in NOLA!

We really enjoyed this trip. Definitely need to wear the provided ear protection as it is really noisy. We were concerned about being bitten by bugs but didn’t notice a problem with that. Guess we were going too fast! Lots of stops to take photos and hear interesting facts. Would recommend.

Swamp Tour with Captain Trey

The whole thing was great start to finish. We got picked up right outside our hotel (downtown pick only I believe), and from there for clear instructions on where to collect the tickets for the boat and which dock to stand at. Timings were near enough perfect, we got on the boat with Captain Trey and he was great - such an entertainer. The whole experience was brilliant, from ease of booking through to getting dropped back off after the tour. Saw so many alligators and other wildlife, which was pointed out by Captain Trey each time. We even got to hold his little baby gator, Gatorade. 10/10 experience. Thank you 🤩

A day trip that’s worth taking

A day trip that’s worth taking! The combination of the plantation and the swamp tour is great because they’re completely different expierences and don’t make the day feel so tiring. The plantation was beautiful though you are restrictred with the time and then during the swamp tour they made sure we saw lots of animals from up close. We just wish we had planned better in terms of bringing water and snacks because there isn’t a lot of time to sit and eat. It’s a long day because of the drive so that’s something to keep in mind.

This was my first-ever...

This was my first-ever hop-on hop-off experience, and I had a great time. It honestly set the standard for me, and I’ve since taken similar tours in Barcelona and Buenos Aires. I now see it as a great first stop in any big city abroad. I understand these tours are run by different companies, so the experience can vary depending on things like how clear the pickup points are and whether the tour is guided/narrated or mainly an audio headset experience. The New Orleans tour, in particular, was very informative and full of history, and we really enjoyed using it as a convenient shuttle around the city. It also helped us avoid relying on cabs, which made getting around much easier. One thing to note is that some streets were blocked off due to Mardi Gras preparations, which affected parts of the route. It might be helpful if that was made clearer in the description, especially around seasonal route changes from January through March. Overall, a really enjoyable and practical way to explore the city, and I would recommend it.

Great experience, lots of fun! Bobby was a great guide! Very informative, had great stories, answered any questions and made sure we were all having fun. He knew all the hot spots to see all kinds of wildlife and helped make sure everyone got a chance to look and take photos of everything. Saw a bunch of gators up close and got to hold a baby one. Highly recommend and so well worth it!!
