What are people saying about Skagway

5 stars for Pam
Had an excellent tour Skagway Tours & our guide Pam. She was friendly & knowledgeable about the history of the port/town. We also managed to squeeze in loads of spots to stop off & take pictures-including waterfalls, the scenic view over Skagway & the Yukon/Alaska signs. The suspension bridge was a great, we were fortunate enough to have excellent weather. The musher puppies were a lovely experience.

Breathtaking Views and an Exceptional Guide
We absolutely loved this excursion and do not regret for a second choosing the van tour instead of the train. Traveling in a small group made the experience much more enjoyable and personal, with numerous stops along the way and breathtaking views at every turn. The stops were perfectly timed: long enough to take beautiful photos and enjoy the scenery without ever feeling rushed, but not so long that we felt we were wasting time. The whole journey was incredibly scenic and well paced. Connor was exceptional. He shared so much about Skagway’s history, local stories, wildlife, nature, and the area in general. His knowledge and enthusiasm really brought the experience to life. Emerald Lake was definitely one of the highlights, absolutely magical and one of the most beautiful places we saw during the excursion! The lunch was honestly not the highlight of the day, but it was a minor point compared with everything else. Overall, we were extremely happy with our choice and would absolutely recommend this tour. We also really appreciated being dropped off downtown on the way back, just a short distance from the ship. It gave us plenty of time to explore the shops and walk around Skagway before returning to the boat. A wonderful experience, beautiful scenery, and an exceptional guide. Highly recommended!

An amazing day!
This was an amazing adventure, Trey our driver/tour guide was brilliant, kept us entertained all day with his local knowledge and fun facts, he also made some stops at scenic spots so we could take photos! The dog sledding was amazing too, we got to meet the pups and have a cuddle, then a very interesting talk by one of the dog trainers before we went to do our dog shedding! Would definitely do this again and would highly recommend it! What a fabulous day!

Make sure you get Pam!
We had the best time!!! Make sure you ask for Pam! We were in the Skagway tours bus. Pam was a great tour guide! Very knowledgeable about the area, entertaining, and kept us on track so we saw all the sights plus some! She even made sure we were able to get great pictures at the Welcome to Alaska sign and the Yukon sign by kindly enforcing “sign etiquette” for other tour groups lol! She takes great pics too!
