Mrs Lee-was very...
Mrs Lee-was very informative and knowledgeable and helped us learn the history of Alaska and made our trip fun and enjoyable and memorable. She was patient with us even when our luggage arrived late and help accommodate our needs well. I would highly recommend her trip for passage from Seward to Anchorage Alaska Thank You!

Great tour !
My son and I did this tour. It ended up just being the two of us and the guide. The guide, Caroline, was awesome. Super nice and helpful the whole way. Very knowledgeable about the area. We had a great time. Couldn’t have asked for a better guide. I was a bit slow on the way back and she was totally cool with it. Great tour, highly recommended.

Great tour! Orcas, seals lions and more
Awesome tour! It’s a solid 8.5 hours. We saw unbelievable scenery and tons of wildlife. We got to see Orcas, seals, sea otters, porpoises, humpback whales and many birds. Really enjoyed the furthest point we reached where the water gets icy. Highly recommended

Outstanding Tour, perfect day for our family!
Absolutely outstanding! Top-notch crew and captain, yummy food and drinks, and a truly incredible wildlife viewing day! Major Marine Tours was professional from top to bottom. The captain and crew were friendly, knowledgeable, and a lot of fun to be around. The boat was not overcrowded, and the captain did an amazing job maneuvering the boat to provide optimal viewing on all sides. We had an extremely lucky day at sea! Calm water, low wind, and wildlife galore. This is a must-see for Kenai Fjords and beyond. Worth every penny and will recommend to anyone I know coming to Alaska.

Do it, you won’t regret it!
This was a great experience! We worried it wouldn’t be as exciting since we were pulled in a cart on wheels instead of an actual sled, but it was amazing! We were pulled by 8 dogs that had won second place in the Iditarod this year, which was pretty cool.

Epic tour, would book again!
Amazing crew and experience. Saw seals, sea lions, puffins, humpbacks, glacier, orcas and billy goats. Beautiful scenery, captain gave great descriptions on where to find/see everything on the shore. Plenty of time on the water. Celiacs: a gluten free lunch option was available on the boat (salad and chips), but was not celiac safe (if you need it).

This was an amazing trip...
This was an amazing trip to the base of the Aialik Glacier, with breaching humpback whales, bald eagles, puffins, Dall's porpoises, harbor seals, and Stellar sea lions along the way! Spectacular! We certainly got lucky with weather, which helped makes this a perfect day.

Otherworldly
If you can afford this breathtaking opportunity, seize it. Everyone on the staff — shuttle driver, desk agent, pilot, musher, and sled dogs — was genuinely friendly, helpful and professional. And the incomprehensible beauty atop the glacier —the senses scarce could take it in.

Exceeded expectations
Wonderful day tour that exceeded all expectations! The crew were all wonderful and were obviously very focused on ensuring guests had a great time. We saw so many wonderful sights and the crew did a great job pointing out and explaining the wildlife we saw on the trip. Everything was organized exceptionally well and we highly re command the trip!

Ask for Kris, he will break out in song. And poetry.
Great idea since you get off a cruise ship at 8 or 9 and your hotel or airplane won’t be ready until much later. We missed the something glacier because arrived at a different city!
But the other stops on the tour were cool and the luggage handling was pretty good too.

Great trip! The whole family will love it especially if u r dog lovers. Well worth the price!
The staff was very informative and gave us the full background of the Iditarod and dog sledding in general. We got to meet our whole team of dogs, pet them etc and took a fun pseudo dog sled tour thru the forest. We then enjoyed puppy petting time and had a class on the gear and dog clothing used during the process. The entire staff was very friendly and anxious to share their knowledge. We were lucky enough to have one of the lead dogs that won an Iditarod on our team. We loved this experience and highly recommend it!

Great day for wildlife...
Great day for wildlife sightings. Saw 5 different humpbacks, 2 pods of orcas, two different types of seals, Dall's porpoises, two types of puffins, sea otters, bald eagle. Also awesome closeups of 2 glaciers. The voice in our heads (the boat captain) was fun and informative. We had such a great day. Highly recommend.

Most of Alaska is wilderness, so Seward is a convenient base for exploring the great outdoors. The city is next to Kenai Fjords National Park and many Seward tours include excursions in the park. Cruises offer views of stunning glaciers and you might even spot wildlife such as otters, whales, porpoises, and puffins. If you’d prefer something more adventurous, consider a guided glacier hike, a kayaking trip on Resurrection Bay, or even a dog sled ride.
