Fun time
Janet gave us history of the island and all her favorite eating and drinking places. We had a great time and met some really nice people. The mini beer and painkiller drinks great, the food on Catalina was ok but nothing to write home about. I would recommend this excursion to friends.

Highlight of our Trip
This was the highlight of our trip! Art was extremely knowledgeable having been raised on Catalina. He was also accommodating and a lot of fun! The vistas and history were exactly what we were looking for in this tour. This is a great way to get a feel for the island and people. We were sad when it ended!

Didn’t Make Me Feel Dumb
There are five zip-lines. Some with views of the ocean, others with the trees and plant life. With beautiful views. All the guys are extremely friendly, respectful, and make you feel at ease throughout the entire experience. I witnessed the group in front of us as well as our group. Our guides were stellar! They were very thorough, knowledgeable, courteous, respectful, humorous, and helpful. I forgot to mention extremely brave.

Amazing experience!
This was an amazing experience! Our captain was enthusiastic and very knowledgeable about Catalina and its marine life. The dolphins and sea lions were majestic and we got much closer to them then I expected we would. We even got to see a whale, which is a little rare but we got lucky! I would recommend to anyone who is interested but I would also suggest dressing warm as it’s very windy and it’s likely you could get a little wet (not soaked, just some ocean spray). 100% worth the money!

A perfect place to unplug for the day
The bus is beautiful, so if you are into vintage cars or automobiles just in general, you’ll love being on this bus. The tour guide was funny and very knowledgeable about the sites on the tour. He even gave information about the city so if you are looking to move to Avalon, you actually have insider information as to where to start.

The best experience!!
The best experience! We had a great time. I traveled with my spouse and our 10 year old daughter and we all loved it. Its a fun not to miss activity for both adults and children. We felt so upclose to marine life and the captain did a wonderful job narrating about the species of fish. From the moment we got on board to the moment we arrived back from sea we saw tons of fish! We were seated comfortably with big windows so got to see plenty!! Captain Brad was wonderful!

Eric is the best of best!
He knows everything about Catalina Island.
He answered all the questions that we had and he even gave us a great tip for next time trip to the Catalina.
I'm so glad I found you to be the guide of our family.

Thank you, Eric!

Beautiful & fun
So much fun! My kids (6 and 8) both loved it! We missed our original tour time (our fault), and they were kind enough to reschedule us right away whew. Staff was friendly and helpful, and boat was well maintained. It goes pretty high! Loved the view from up there and dipping our toes in the water. Highly recommend for something different to do in Catalina!

Interesting historical and wildlife facts made the tour worthwhile
The tour guide, Tim, was entertaining and provided interesting historical facts about Santa Catalina island as well as interesting facts on wildlife on the island. I had no idea that the Wrigley family (yes, the chewing gum brand) was behind a lot of the development and conservancy efforts of the island.
We saw multiple bisons, and a rare Santa Catalina fox, which was very cool. We traversed the bumpy narrow roads at extremely high elevations. I would not have wanted to drive on the dirt roads myself but I enjoyed the view that the journey to remote parts of the island provided.
I recommend this tour, particularly if you are new to Catalina island.

Haunted Catalina Island
As a lot of history associated with Catalina Island, our guide was very informative. Although as a suggestion, she cannot carry a book cause she kept hitting it, and it was echoing in the earphones, but I’m very impressed that she remembered every detail year , person, detail. Also, it would’ve been nice if she wore her tire that would’ve made it a little bit more exciting. It may be practice, not saying nobody asked for my critique, but I think she did a great job.

Bird's Eye View of Avalon
This was a great and reasonably affordable way to see some of the rest of Catalina that we couldn't get to on foot. Some folks rented the golf cart to drive up the windy path, but we preferred the tram with narration, especially after seeing how narrow the road gets at times.

Better than advertised
It was worth every penny. So often you pay for an excursion and don’t see the whale, but we saw SO many fish!! And it was gorgeous. The boat was spacious and comfortable and the captain and guide were friendly and knowledgeable. I would recommend it to anyone.
