What are people saying about Ketchikan

Unforgettable stunning experience!!
This experience is like nothing else, it’s an extraordinary beautiful feeling taking off and landing on water. Being a pilot myself this never gets old. Captain Steve flew the turbine Otter so nicely! We were lucky with the weather. The landing on Nooya Lake was like a dream! Glassy water this time. You can experience the real remote and wild wilderness. This booking was a surprise present from me to my husband for his birthday. He was a bush float pilot back in the days. It still was an incredible experience. And yes worth the money spent!! Live a little 👍

Great experience, definitely recommend
Bought this trip as a surprise birthday present for my husband. He loved it. Our pilot Joe was great. He was very informative, especially the areas we were flying over, often pointing out areas of interest, wildlife to look out for and the history of the area too. Would definitely recommend

These guys are great. The staff was amazing!! We had some issues reaching the meeting point on time and Amanda went out of her way to help book us on the next tour. She also assisted us in getting back to the port on time. Incredible customer support that you don't get nowadays. The tour was amazing as well. Beautiful place!! Chris was an amazing tour/trolley guide. I would recommend that Viator place something on the description that you will need at least 30 minutes or more to reach the meeting location if you cruise ship is docked at Ward Cove.

Fantastic day
We had a fabulous afternoon with Shad. We saw a bear and a lot of eagles, a beautiful waterfall and had a lovely time at the beach. Shad was a wonderful friendly guide and we had a great day. It was great to be able to be flexible with what we wanted to spend time on without worrying about other people. We had a 3yr old and an elderly family member as well in our group, and Shad was very helpful and accommodating to us all. The van was well stocked with lots of snacks and water as well which was a lovely bonus.

Ketchikan is a wilderness lover’s paradise. Close to downtown, a local guide can take you to see the region’s best black sand beaches, Native American totem pole parks, and viewpoints for black bears and spawning salmon. The waters around Tongass National Forest are preferred for kayaking among orcas, seals, and humpback whales, but Ketchikan excursions don’t stop there. Fish for Alaskan salmon and halibut, bike or zipline through lush rainforest, or take a plane ride over the spectacular mountains, waterfalls, and alpine lakes of Misty Fjords National Monument.
