Top Tour to Victoria/Buchart Gardens from Vancouver

Joe and Byron were fantastic hosts on this bus trip from Vancouver to Victoria and Buchart Gardens. The service uses Prevost buses and Mercedes vans to provide the most comfort on the trip. Joe and Byron were very amiable, informative and engaging, answering any and all questions while providing lots of tips about the areas we visited, things to see, restaurants for dining and special items to experience including the gelato at Buchart Gardens and the Seascapes dining area at the stern of the ferry on our return to Vancouver. Most travelers spent the ferry ride in the cafeteria in the middle of the ferry while Joe and Byron directed us back further to the similarly priced Seascapes just beyond the cafeteria where we had our own table to dine, relax and enjoy some adult beverages while having an unobstructed view of the gorgeous scenery. Well worth the price!

We had the absolute best...

We had the absolute best day and a huge reason for this was Jason. He has the most positive attitude and wonderful communication skills. He was always making sure everyone felt safe and that we were having a good time. The tour itself was amazing. Jason even added a couple extra stops and took photos for us. It was a perfect day!!

This tour actually took a lot longer than the length estimate initially gave us, but I don’t think anyone complained about that. Haha, our guide had picked us up at like 10:45 am on the day of, so he was definitely early!! I have an idea how big these groups can actually get for the tour, but the 2 of us (my husband and I) were the only ones being picked up at the first stop. We got to chat with the driver/guide a bit and we learned quite a bit as he drove us to the next location to pick up others in order to Begin the tour. I really enjoyed that although there were parts where we had to stay in the bus as he gave us information while driving by, there were also parts where we got out and toured on our own!! First time was with a half hour deadline to be back at the bus, second time was 90 min and then the last time was almost 2 hours!! Last but not least time was spent at the Capilano campus, and it was just Beautiful and Amazing. 😍🥰🥳

Whistler has an option for everyone from children’s play ground, Cow’s ice cream, an array of shopping, restaurant’s, brew pubs, three gondola rides and many hikes to choose from.

Beautiful park. The suspension was a little scary for me but a safe adventure. Cliff walk was great. Enjoyed seeing the handlers with the raptors and listening to them talk about the animals. Loved the history plaques and photos that are placed along trails telling the story of the bridge and park.

We had an exceptional day on Vancouver Island visiting Butchart Gardens and the capital, Victoria. Steve Kelly was our tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and funny. We had a great experience with him. The gardens were awesome and Victoria was beautiful. Both places were well worth seeing.

Very informative tour

Very informative tour of all things Vancouver and surrounding areas. Kat was a fantastic guide who inserted a lot of good information with humor included. Crew member Andrew was great and took care of drink orders and helping with anything we needed. Captain Lucas piloted the boat with expertise and ease. A great excursion that I highly recommend.

Absolutely wonderful...

Absolutely wonderful experience! We saw three humpbacks and two orcas. The crew did an expert job at finding these wonderful animals and allowing us to view them in all their natural glory. Big shout out to the naturalist guide, Caitlin. She was very informative and answered any and all questions. I learned a lot about the whales and their behavior. We saw Orcas from Pod T101 (Reef and Lagoon). We also were treated to a long wonderful show from the Humpback, Gibbous. We were able to see him breech and slap the water for over 30 min. And to top it all off, the crew provided professional photos of these whales so I could just enjoy being present in the moment. 100% Recommend.

Worth it!!!

The flyover experience was excellent, however, if I had to change one thing, it would be to make the video that is viewed beforehand inclusive of all people, from all races, including African Americans and African Canadians, it only showed white people and people of Asian descent and indigenous people, the Canadian indians. In doing so, it made the rest of us feel left out eventhough the video says "you belong", who is it that belongs?It should be inclusive of all people, from all races, unless we reallydon't belong and you really don't want us there.
