Excellent use of the day

The tour is amazing and both my 22 and 14 year old grandchildren enjoyed it. Tour guide Tyrone and driver Chris were in turn super knowledgeable and hilarious, and a very safe driver. Tyrone kept our interest every step of the way with his clear explanations of the sites. He was interactive and even connected with the children on the tour. We visited more monuments than I can count and the Potomac boat ride was a great way to end the tour. This tour is an excellent way to visit monuments all in one day, and in an air conditioned bus.

Perfect for Limited Time in the City

This tour was perfect for what we were looking for. We had a very limited amount of time to explore the city and this gave us the biggest bang for our time and buck. We got to see the highlights quickly and comfortably for the 2 hours we had to spend. Many things we saw as we drove past and the more significant stops we had between 5 and 15 minutes to explore. Our guide was punctual, knowledgeable, and courteous. If I had more time I would likely choose a different tour that gave me more time at more stops or I would use this as a quick overview tour at the beginning of a trip then go back to monuments to spend more time.

Highly recommended DC tour 💯👏

The tour director was very knowledgeable- was professional quality for sure. The value of a tourist to see so many key historical places by land and water was monumental (pun intended). A definite recommend because the tour narrated using historical data but also gave key points of information with each destination/monument. He seemed to really love American history and he enthusiastically spoke about key events in our history. TOP NOTCH TOUR! :)

Raphael and Tyrone

This tour stops at several monuments and you need to be able to climb stairs to fully enjoy each stop. The open bus was great to view the sights and provided extra opportunities to take pictures! Raphael was our guide and Tyrone was our driver. Both worked well together to ensure that we had time at each stop to explore and receive information. It was nice to have a native of DC to lead us through our tour. Check in for the tour was easy and we were provided wristbands for easy identification. Also water was provided. We highly recommend the 3 hour evening tour as part of your DC visit

Liked the Tour

If you are short on time, this tour takes you around to the Memorials around the Washington Monument and close to most near the Mall area. You get to walk up to the Lincoln Memorial. Was disappointed we couldn't do same for Jefferson Memorial. Got as close to the Capitol as is allowed. Was a pleasant tour and fit right into our time constraints.

This was by far the favorite part of our trip. Our guide, Liam, was extremely knowledgeable and we loved having a smaller group so we could ask questions. The tour was 3 hours long before getting to the Capitol and the time flew by. I walked away learning so much and have shared this experience with many people we know who have upcoming travels to DC. I would HIGHLY recommend booking this tour!

The National Park Service...

The National Park Service issues Entry / Ticket for FREE, but you they apparently get grabbed up as soon as they release them. The Tickets I received from Viator were $20 each and to me was well worth the price. We were able to get in earlier than our scheduled entry time. The Park Rangers were very professional and helpful. I would definitely recommend spending the $20 than the other options I found on being able to enter in a timely manner,

Night tour of DC

Sally (the tour guide) was really funny. She knows lot about DC monuments and she seems really passionate about history. She also made sure we are not bored by making some jokes. She also made sure we got enough bathroom breaks. She also talked about how parking garages close early in downtown. So she cares about safety of the tourists. She also have nice pointers about nice angles for the pictures. Tour is also very nice, it started late in the evening. We got to see some monuments in perfect evening light. And some monuments in dark. It was nicely planned tour.

I am here several times a year and still learned tidbits from the tour. Jessica was our guide and she worked well with our family. I am in DC several times each year and thought I knew a lot of the city. I learned several things as well as my grandson.

Great Best Of

Meg was a fantastic guide! She communicated the entire time. She let us know where we were going each time, what we were going to see, and when to meet her back. It is definitely a quick overview of each museum, but was perfect to help let us know which ones we wanted to come back to and what to expect. You could easily spend days in these museums, but this is perfect tour of highlights. And Meg did amazing sharing it with us! Thank you! We loved Unscripted & Meg so much, we did several tours with them throughout the week.
