What are people saying about Louisville

Great trip! Marjorie was wonderful.
I had read a few poor reviews around lack of communication. But our experience was amazing. Marjorie was communicative leading up to the trip and took good care of us. We had extra time so she stopped at an additional distillery to enhance our experience. She has a great depth of knowledge around Bourbon and it's history. She was fun and light hearted. I will say that the first part of the schedule was packed a bit too tight, and waiting for others in our group put us behind so that we almost missed our second experience. I realize that this is not the norm however would suggest either not waiting for late comers or allowing for a bit more time between distanced distilleries.

Wow - what a true dive...
Wow - what a true dive into the history of Old Louisville! Angelique was an amazing guide - so knowledgeable and passionate! It rained during a lot of the tour, but I don’t think a single person minded - we were all drawn in to the incredible architecture and fascinating stories. I’d definitely recommend!

The real Louisville!
We took this tour in May and the weather was perfect! This tour is completely outside - there are plenty of trees offering shade, but if it is hot and humid, you will feel it! We had NO IDEA that Louisville had such a beautiful old section. We are so glad that our waiter at Buck's suggested we take a tour of the neighborhood - this was a highlight of our vacation. After the bourbon carousel of main/market street, this was a refreshing view of what Louisville is really all about!

Great history and food tour.
This tour was fabulous. It is a lot of walking, about 4 mi but it stretched over 3 hours. We had a note from the tour operator that you might want to eat before the tour as you just get bites at the places where you stop. I disagree with that. There was plenty of food and had we eaten before we went we might not have been able to eat what we received on the tour. Our tour guide was Christina Shipp and she was so knowledgeable about the history of the city and the history of bourbon. I highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting Louisville or natives, like myself, as I learned so much about my city.

Louisville is well renowned for the Kentucky Derby, excellent bourbon, and, of course, the Louisville slugger baseball bat. Find out more about local culture on a Louisville tour. Dig into the history of one of the world’s most famous horse races at the Kentucky Derby Museum, explore different distilleries, or walk the streets with a guide to learn more about local folklore and hidden tunnels that facilitated the supply of alcohol during the prohibition years.
