What are people saying about Louisville

Great tour, weather uncooperative
We were totally enjoying the tour and learning so much about architecture and history of the neighborhood when there was an unpredicted downpour that wasn’t letting up so last hour of tour had to be cancelled.
Our guide, Angelique, was wonderful. We appreciate everything she did to make our experience a good one. But you can’t fight Mother Nature.

Excellent Bourbon Tour
We booked a tour that included three bourbon distilleries. I selected one and let the tour company select the other two. They made great choices, including a small craft distillery that I would never have selected on my own. The driver was prompt, knowledgeable, and very personable.

Great trip overall…
Bellen was an excellent driver and easy to get along with. She picked us up at 10 AM and had us back to our hotel by 6:15 PM. You were able to visit four distilleries. What other communication was scarce beforehand. Once things were scheduled on their end, we began getting communication from the group. You just have to be patient and wait until they get around to schedule everything.

Bucket list item for a Texas traveler.
It’s a great place to visit and the tours are pretty interesting but a tad expensive for the backside tour. I thought it would be more up close but it was mostly a golf cart ride through with a few stops for pics. Hard to see the horses zooming by in a golf cart.

Good food and history your.
This is an awesome travel experience. A bit of Old Louisville tradition. A sampling of various foods. Cathy is a great tour guide. She knows the history of Louisville and has the ability to enhance the tails of years gone by. I recommend this experience as some of the foods were unique.

Louisville Food and History tour is great
It was lots of food and lots of interesting history. We enjoyed a fried chicken sandwich with Cole slaw and pickle on it. We enjoyed a pretzel (huge) with beer cheese to dip it into, chocolates that were to die for, a hot brown sandwich and derby pie ice cream. It was a lot of yummy food.

Best First Night Louisville Activity!
I’d flown in to Louisville for a work trip, exhausted having less than 4 hours of sleep the night before. I considered bailing, and just going to sleep. I am so glad I didn’t. Angelique was our guide. She was so fun and engaging as she told the ghost stories with lots of history. We had so much fun learning about Millionaires row and photographing it. Our Monday night group was small and we got wonderful personal attention when we asked questions. Angelique recommended other Louisville activities that we could do in the evening when we inquired. Go! You won’t regret it!!!

Great history and food tour.
This tour was fabulous. It is a lot of walking, about 4 mi but it stretched over 3 hours. We had a note from the tour operator that you might want to eat before the tour as you just get bites at the places where you stop. I disagree with that. There was plenty of food and had we eaten before we went we might not have been able to eat what we received on the tour. Our tour guide was Christina Shipp and she was so knowledgeable about the history of the city and the history of bourbon. I highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting Louisville or natives, like myself, as I learned so much about my city.

Our group of nine...
Our group of nine visiting senior citizens was led by the very personable, knowledgeable and friendly Victoria and Monica. They took us around Bardstown to a handful of establishments we likely wouldn't have found on our own and a great time was had by all. A perfect mix of food and spirits and pace. We highly recommend that you take part in this tour for a wonderful introduction to Bardstown for out of towners. A thoroughly enjoyable afternoon!! Thank you again Victoria and Monica.

Great Experience
Had a wonderful time with our guide, Amanda! She was a gifted story teller and was very organized. We loved walking around and learning about the history and hauntings of the city. The drinks were great and provided a nice break in the tour. This was a nice little added gem to our trip in Louisville.

Great day touring distilleries !
Awesome full day tour with Jorg. Started with great communication back-and-forth from the moment of booking. We made some changes before and during the day and it was no problem for him. He found several additional small distilleries that we had never heard of to stop to get some extra experience on our tour. Definitely a personal touch getting us all in at each Stop with no problems. Would absolutely do this again, especially since you can change up the distilleries each visit.

Allison was a great host...
Allison was a great host to Louisville. I really appreciated the individual headsets so we could listen, not strain and our leader didn't have to yell. And oh my goodness - Hot Brown Pizza. My mind was blown with that deliciousness. Word to the wise if you go the premium bourbon route... these tastings are on top of the cocktails/beer provided and not just tastings - full on servings. Fun regardless!

Louisville is well renowned for the Kentucky Derby, excellent bourbon, and, of course, the Louisville slugger baseball bat. Find out more about local culture on a Louisville tour. Dig into the history of one of the world’s most famous horse races at the Kentucky Derby Museum, explore different distilleries, or walk the streets with a guide to learn more about local folklore and hidden tunnels that facilitated the supply of alcohol during the prohibition years.
