Had an amazing time on...

Had an amazing time on the Mendenhall glacier and whale watching experience. Krystal our guide was entertaining and so knowledgeable being a local. Larry, Sophie and Morgan on the boat were terrific too. Larry got as close to the whales as he could do without risking safety of them. Sophie and Morgan were easily spotting which whales we were seeing. Would definitely recommend to others.

Saw so many whales and baby/elderly friendly

So amazing! We saw tons of whales maybe 15 total. One breeched right in front of us it was stunning! We had my grandma who recently broke her pelvis and is using a walker as well as our 8 month old baby, both were just fine on the tour. Larry was captain. Kacie and Griffin were the naturalists who did amazing jobs. All the crew was just great, so enthusiastic and knowledgeable. We weren’t sure about booking via Viator vs the cruise ship but this was super easy to find and they called multiple times to make sure we were finding the place ok!

An Excellent Shore Excursion

Our bus driver/guide Archie was wonderful. He made this excursion a never forgettable experience. A First Nations person himself, he narrated our trip in a humorous and informative manner. He described the scenery, helped us locate eagles and other indigenous animals and plants, and provided a historical background. I recommend this excursion highly.

I highly recommend this...

I highly recommend this excursion. We chose the earliest time and it definitely made for a less crowded boat. It’s still small and more intimate anyway, but choose the early option! Love supporting a family run small business. They rely on word of mouth rather than marketing or the annoying folks at the port trying to get business. So choose them for an all around great experience!

Amazing flight over breathtaking scenery

The trip only happens during good weather (for obvious reasons), so we were relieved when the rainy skies turned partially sunny. Starting off and landing on water is quite cool but the views during flight were even much better. Our expert pilot John took us smoothly around and back. A wonderful experience!

Amazing way to start our Alaska adventure

Our whale watching/Mendenhall glacier excursion exceeded all expectations. Saw more whales than I ever dreamed possible. Nate & Ammon were great guides & so knowledgeable and engaging. The glacier was gorgeous & walk to Nugget Falls was easy and amazing.. My only negative would be the rude, unhelpful bus driver Bobby. Concerned about timing, I asked him what time we got back from Mendenhall. He literally refused to answer my question and said he’d tell us all when everyone was on the bus and muttered some snarky comment as I boarded. Complete rude jerk!

Epic Experience

Fantastic setup by the company: a small boat where we all had clear visibility to water. Nobody had to 'fight' for a view. Captain TJ was knowledgeable, funny, and respected the animals and nature. The naturalist on board Tamara was funny and knowledgeable. On the excursion itself we had incredible views of humpback whales, including breaching and bubble net feeding. At all times, the captain made sure we had great visibility while also maintaining a proper distance so we didn't disturb the whales. Throughout the excursion both TJ and Tamara shared interesting information about what was happening, etc. Truly was an epic experience.

Amazing company

Words can’t express how amazing this is, other companies take you to Mendenhall Glacier where 75 people are on the same glacier. We where the only people on the glacier just 6 of us just unreal!! The whole staff is first class from the greeters at meeting point, driver in the van to the safety crew and reception desk.

Epic humpback whale watching

This was an amazing whale watch! We got to see an incredibly rare sight, a group of approximately 20 humpback whales bubble net feeding and swimming by us. It was truly incredible to see. Captain Greg and his crew, Mina and Jude made sure we learned all we needed to know about the humpback whales. We also had a sea lion wave at us!

The tour guide Troy was outstanding. He was very knowledgeable about the area since he had lived there for many years. It was nice traveling with a smaller group in the trolley to the glacier versus a bus. We were fortunate to have a clear sunny day at the glacier and had plenty of time to explore the area.

Whale Watching Memories of a Lifetime!

The whale watching tour was the absolute highlight of our trip! Captain Austin and his crewmates, Savanah and Libby, were everything we could have wished for and more. They went above and beyond to ensure we had the best possible experience. Thanks to their deep knowledge of the local waters, we saw an incredible number of whales and seals throughout the tour.
