Palm Springs tram
This place is very very fun. When we went on the tram it was very beautiful and fun and so high. I loved the hiking and if you go far enough or in the night, you could see the wildlife animals. You could also camp there too. There was a cafe, a restaurant, and a gift shop. Very good food. It’s a beautiful sight to see.

Memories for a lifetime
Really amazing experience. The presentation and explanation of what we were seeing was very insightful and interesting. We were truly amazed by what we could see through all the various telescopes. The location was pretty remote but it was worth it and quite comfortable lounging on the bean bag cushions enjoying the evening. This is something you'll always remember.

Guided by the Stars, Grounded by the Desert
Here’s a polished version:
This was such a mystical experience—being under the stars, surrounded by the stillness of the desert and wrapped in its gentle breeze. Kay and Ray were incredible guides who created a safe, welcoming space and expertly facilitated this unforgettable journey.
Or, if you’re looking for something shorter and more review-like:
A truly mystical experience under the stars, embraced by the peaceful desert breeze. Kay and Ray were amazing facilitators who guided us with care, making the entire journey unforgettable.

Great for First Time Visitors!
So much fun and lots of great info! We got a terrific intro to the park and its history. Our guide also gave us some geological and botanical facts which was interesting for us all. We did a couple of short hikes and saw some amazing panoramas/views. Definitely recommend for first timers to the park. Note: you have to get your own entrance into the park which can be done at the visitor center or at the park entrance.

Fun tour!
Such a fun and very interesting tour! Colin was wonderful! It was a hot day (110) and he had individual battery operated fans, cold water, spray bottles and hand held fans to help keep us cool. He was very knowledgeable about the homes and area. My husband and I had a great time! Colin also recommended Sherman’s for lunch. What a great spot! Thank you!

A spectacular day out!
Firstly a shout out to Viator for allowing the excursion to go ahead despite the fact that only two of us had booked. Thank you - it felt like a private tour!
Austin our tour guide/driver was awesome. He was easy to get on with, and his knowledge was excellent. He was able to share anecdotes, history, geology, and information about the flora and fauna we encountered with ease.
Joshua Tree National Park is a ‘must see’! It is a truly spectacular park, and Austin played excerpts from U2’s Joshua Tree album as we arrived in the Park, stirring 40 year old memories for me! We had a number of stops during the tour to stretch our legs and take photographs. The walks are on fairly even ground but you can stay in the minibus if you wish (it was 108 degrees and UV factor 13 when we were there…). Water and granola bars are also freely available on the bus.
The tour ended with a spectacular view over Coachella Valley, from the Salish Sea (even Mexico) on the left to Palm Springs laid out below. You could even see evidence of the San Andreas Fault from this high vantage point.
I highly recommend this tour - and especially Austin our guide, who was both fun to be with, and kind enough to run the trip with just us two tourists!

Gorgeous landscapes & Informative guide.
RON, our guide was extremely knowledgeable of the Palm Springs area, the valley, geology and fauna. The drive to Joshua Tree was engaging conversation and informative. Inside the park, Ron took us to areas we would not have known to go if we visited on our own. He explained the medicinal value of plants that grow in the. We heard 'folklore' and the history of Jushua Tree.
Highly recommend for a first visit.

Easy Ride
Our driver kept in contact with us and arrived on time for our late flight pickup from the airport. He sent a picture of his vehicle so we would know what to look for. Plus if you like a non-conversationalist, Henry is your man. Suited us fine as we were tired!

Great tour!
Spencer did a great job showing us around Joshua Tree. He had good knowledge of the area and gave us just what we needed! He contacted us ahead of time to make sure we knew what to expect and what we needed and was on time to pick us up as well. He was very personable and we had a great time with him

Entertaining and Informative
Highly entertaining, informative and even historical information regarding the Palm Springs in general. I would highly recommend this tour if you want to know what celebrities own or owned homes in the PS and why. The culture of PS, and some of the reasons PS is so widely popular. In general its a great tour.

Fascinating tour, Sarah is a terrific guide!
Fascinating tour! Sarah was an awesome guide, full of interesting details about this incredible landscape. We learned a ton about the fault line and plate tectonic activity in this area. Oh, and saw some great views of the Salton Sea. Sarah is the best!!

A Great Experience!
We have been to Palm Desert many times, but never tried this tour before. Since we had friends visiting we signed up & I’m so glad we did. It was fantastic. Marv is an amazing guide- very knowledgeable and so good about taking photos for us & answering questions. We were really fortunate to have spent the morning with him! I would highly recommend this experience.
