- For the small-group experience, each electric cart accommodates a maximum of 7 travellers, and multiple carts may be used per departure. While we do our best to seat groups together, this cannot be guaranteed, and guests may be split across separate carts.
- For the private experience, your group will have exclusive use of an electric cart (maximum 7 people). This option is priced at a fixed total rate for up to 7 guests, meaning the full price applies regardless of group size.
- Please arrive as scheduled, dress appropriately for the weather, and check your messages for any updates. Since our electric carts are not heated and are open to the environment, we recommend wearing layers of clothing during colder months.
- This is a child-friendly tour, however, please note that all children will be charged at full adult rate due to limited seating. Our eCruisers can accommodate most types of infant seats and you are encouraged to bring your own. Children are not permitted to sit on their parent's laps. We can provide an infant seat if needed, provided you call us at least 48 hours before the tour and inform us of the age and weight of the infant.
- Charts can accommodate folding wheelchairs for guests who can transfer into the cart on their own or with assistance. Please note that there is no ramp access, and we are unable to accept motorized or non-folding wheelchairs due to vehicle limitations. Wheelchairs are not provided. If bringing your own, please let us know at the time of booking. All requests are subject to availability.
- The itinerary and its order of stops are subject to change at any time. Monuments visited may change due to local road or monument closure which are beyond our control. Most travelers can participate
- Tour covers the National Mall in an all-electric vehicle. We're committed to reducing the environmental impact of vehicle-based tourism in Washington DC, which makes up the vast majority of tours given in this city. Make a "green" difference by seeing the Mall via electric transportation!
- Tour runs year-round and goes ahead rain or shine, unless conditions are dangerous. Cancellation decisions may be made at the meeting point. We may delay up to 30 minutes for weather to improve. Please arrive as scheduled, dress appropriately, and check messages for updates.

If you are short on time, this tour takes you around to the Memorials around the Washington Monument and close to most near the Mall area. You get to walk up to the Lincoln Memorial. Was disappointed we couldn't do same for Jefferson Memorial. Got as close to the Capitol as is allowed. Was a pleasant tour and fit right into our time constraints.

You will learn a lot. Drivers are very knowledgeable and quick to adjust routes to get to key historical sites if needed as roads close due to government activity.

This was a great way to see the city and learn some history about monuments and museums. I wish we had done this the first day instead of the last. Our tour guide was great and some of our friends had one who wasn’t as helpful so that makes a big difference.

Very informative, insightful. Joel did a great job. We were at the Washington monument with a beautiful sunset behind us. Perfect photo also to say it was beautiful is an understatement. havel such a funny, kind, charismatic, and helpful tour guide also to be known as a crazy and most funny tour guide ever and most chore guides do not have a masters degree and is a proud citizen his message about all the little people in our lives being important was very mean of meaningful and hopeful to know

I had a wonderful solo experience on this tour! My guide, Lorenzo, was incredibly informative and polite throughout the entire trip. Traveling alone, I truly appreciated how attentive he was, he even helped me out of the vehicle like a true gentleman.The itinerary was perfectly paced, providing adequate time to thoroughly enjoy all the promised sites without feeling rushed. Overall, it was a highly pleasant experience. I felt safe, comfortable, and well-taken care of the entire time. Highly recommended for solo travelers!

I had a wonderful experience on my ride. Things were a bit chaotic only because the festivities of the 4th impacted things; however, my driver was so kind and accommodating. I can't recall her name, but she is an educator and 4th generation DC native.

Did this back in 2021 and it was great. Was looking forward to revisiting sights again. Disappointed that this was not the same tour. The only stops we made were the Washington memorial for 5 minutes, the Lincoln for 20, and the White House for 2. We finished an hour early. In the past we actually stopped to get photos in front of capitol, Jefferson, and the MLK. This was really just a drive around DC for an hour.

Our tour was exactly what we expected - a fairly quick (2-hour) tour of popular monuments in Washington, DC; with several picture opportunities. The tour guide, Mr. Cook, was outstanding. He was very knowledgeable, polite, and patient. I am mobility challenged (use a rollator), but he ensured I was able to visit the monumants and secured the rollator while travelling. Thank you. All three generations enjoyed the tour and the supplemental information.

A great way to see all the significant sites. Comfortable ride, plenty of time to stop and view and take photos. Most of all, a terrific guide. Amanda was fun, relaxed, interesting and eager to show us around. Great evening out (even in the heat) with the family. Our daughters said it was their favorite part of the day!

More driving around town than actually seeing the monuments. Hopped off at 4. Rest were distant drives. Main reason for booking was to see WW II monument and driver informed me that was not part of the tour. Very disappointing.

This tour by luxury golf cart was absolutely amazing. Loads of interesting facts supplied by our guide Cortland who was so full of knowledge about Washington and historic facts as well as his families being raised here for many generations and his fun facts he supplied. Intrepid tours is blessed to have an employee that is such a fun, friendly person. He made our tour 5 star. Just amazing guide.

This was a great experience. We stopped at the Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial and MLK Memorial with time to walk around and take pictures. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and entertaining. The open air vehicle was great in the heat as it cooled us down as we drove around. Highly recommend.

There were a few issues with this tour that would lead me to choose another group. First, when we arrived, it was a mess and the tour company name is actually different than the company that billed us. Second, the golf cart was not like the one advertised in the pictures, which was disappointing as other groups do use that actual cart. The last, and most disappointing aspect was that we were seated in the back and facing the opposite direction. We couldn’t hear the guide at all, and when I asked if he could turn up the volume, there was no follow up. Throughout the tour he would say “Straight ahead you’ll see……”, except we never saw because we were facing the rear. All in all, it was so disappointing.
