Great day in DC

Tyron and Kris were an amazing guide and driver! Tyron brought so much enthusiasm to the tour and did a great job keeping a large group organized. I took the extended tour with the Capitol Building, and he was excellent throughout. His lunch recommendations were wonderful, too. Even though I was traveling solo, he made me feel included.

Exceptional Tour

Our tour guide was Evelyn with Unscripted Tours. Evelyn was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and fun to spend time with! She knew the Capitol rotunda would be closing, so she hustled us in for the last tour in the early afternoon. She also got us tickets to the house chamber where we saw two bills pass. In the Library of Congress she explained the sculptures, murals and mosaics on the walls and ceiling. She also told us so much US history and we learned so much from her.

We had a wonderful experience on our Smithsonian museum tour! Our guide, Meg, was excellent. She was extremely knowledgeable and thorough, and you could tell she really knew the history behind everything she was showing us. What we especially appreciated was that Meg never made the tour feel rushed. She took the time to stop, answer questions, and explain things in more detail whenever anyone wanted to know more. She was engaging, informative, and made the history so much more interesting. It was a great experience from beginning to end. If you’re considering a Smithsonian tour, I highly recommend it—and if you’re lucky enough to have Meg as your guide, even better!

Don't miss this tour!

This particular tour allowed us to stop and photo all the planned sites. The night view of the monuments was more impacting upon me than expected. I was glad we rode to the monuments, it would have been too much walking in the wind and traffic especially at night. The guide was very knowledgeable and personable.

The tour was great and Maurice was the best guide. They used the full time and we saw so many parts of the city while getting some time at a few spots to walk around and take photos. Fascinating and fun!

Scott was an amazing guide! He made the Georgetown Ghost Tour both fun and fascinating. We loved hearing the stories behind Georgetown’s haunted history and learning how the people and events of the past are connected to the hauntings still talked about today. Scott was engaging, knowledgeable, and a great storyteller. Such a fun way to experience Georgetown—we thoroughly enjoyed the tour and would definitely recommend it! Be sure to bring mosquito spray if you are a filet mignon.

Ask for Byron the Entertainer

Our tour guide Byron the Entertainer made it so fun even though it was 90 degrees. I felt like we were the lucky ones for getting him as our guide. The tour included lots of jokes, sing-alongs and fun stories and was great for our family with young kids. Byron kept it light. The tour is a great way to see a lot of DC quickly and enjoy the sites at night.
