Top St Augustine Historical Tours

We were only in St. Augustine for a day and a family member had recommended this specific tour. We never would have seen as much in such a short visit or have taken such an interest in the town without this tour. Kevin and his wife run this business. Kevin kept us entertained the whole time! We stopped to listen a lot, and there was a bathroom stop, as well as a bathroom stop at the visitor center where we started and ended, so it would be manageable for most people. We booked a 1.5 hour walking tour and it ended up being about 2.5 hours, plus it was less expensive than a different walking tour (with a similar-sounding name), so we definitely got our money's worth. Kevin even gave us his cell phone number so we could contact him with any questions about the area--which some people have done even years later! Wow! Tips: Traffic and parking were crazy in St. Augustine even in the middle of February. There is a parking garage next to the visitor center, but we found it less stressful to walk the 15 minutes from our hotel to the visitor center. The tour met on the fancy tiled outside area between the visitor's information center and the parking garage. The tour ended near the historic fort and visitor center, so you could see the fort before or afterwards.
