This was such a fun night! My family- 2 kids ages 10 and 12, my 70 year old mother, my husband and I all enjoyed this ghost/history tour. Story telling was great, intriguing and so much history right in this exact location.
We learned so much and loved the ghost stories! Made us think…

Our guide was friendly but I swear I heard more about places to eat places to stay and to me personal anguish of who is buying up Saint Augustine. There was really no “scary” ghost stories and very little about the history of the city.. Walked a small block and that was pretty much it. Disappointed.

I am so sorry we did not meet your expectations. You heard 11 ghost stories in a 90 minute 3/4 mile walking ghost tour. If you had said anything during or after the tour I would have happily refunded you what I was paid for doing your tour.
The first Airbnb discussed had a 10 minute ghost story attached to it which is a personal experience of mine. The only other one mentioned also has another story attached to the building next to it. This is not sold or marketed as a scary ghost tour. Reading our reviews should have revealed that to you.. Happy Hauntings.

Our tour guide, Scott I believe, was a natural story teller. He was very knowledgeable about the area, with many fascinating experiences to share. He even worked in a few food, drink, and hotel recommendations that I would like to try on my next visit. I took 3 of my family members on this tour, one of whom is wheelchair bound. About 30 minutes prior to the tour, I finally thought to call and confirm that the walking route was wheelchair accessible. Scott personally answered my call with warm assurance, and remembered my group as we later joined the tour. He knew every bump, crack, and hole in the streets on his route, and gave us ample warning for every hazard, recommending smoother paths, all while he walked backwards in the dark! Despite some naturally uneven terrain, we all enjoyed the tour and would do it again. I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting St. Augustine.

Our family recently went on this ghost tour with our wonderful guide, Scott. We found it absolutely fascinating. Not only did we enjoy the spooky stories, but we also learned so much about the town’s history along the way. It was the perfect mix of history, mystery, and entertainment.
Scott was a fantastic guide. He has a great way of telling stories that really pulls you in, and his enthusiasm made the whole experience even more enjoyable. You can tell he’s passionate about the history and the legends of the area. By the end of the tour, we were all wishing it could have gone on longer because we wanted to hear even more of his stories.

Scott was incredibly knowledgeable and a great storyteller. The personal stories and Scott's connection to the city made the tour feel intimiate in a great way. Like you're visiting an old friend or relative and hearing family stories, or getting gossip rather than going on a commercial tour. Since we were a smaller tour, Scott went above and beyond showing us extra sights and it was so appreciated, especially since this was our first time (we'll be back many more!) He was also pointing out all the great places to eat, where to go during the day for non-spooky tours, places to stay, just a really great experience. If you do one tour while you're here, do this one. Thank you Scott and Miss Wainright!

We enjoyed this tour of St. Augustine, even though it did not cover the promised " including visits to notable sites like Castillo de San Marcos, Huguenot Cemetery, and Tolomato Cemetery. " We were really looking forward to visiting these sites at night. Our guide was personable, lived in the area we walked, and shared his favorite local restaurants.

Absolutely fantastic. It wasn't corny like some ghost tours. He told amazing stories and laced in some history as well. A few of the stories definitely raised the hair on my arms. Even with the rain, it was a bunch of fun. Would highly recommend.

Educational but not much paranormal activity. The buildings are cool and the guide was very good. But needs more paranormal activity no no cemeteries.

Thank you for joining us on The Night Watchman Ghost Tour. This is not sold or marketed as a paranormal tour. It is a 90 minute storytelling ghost tour. There are far too many of those type of tours in town which are available to those who are interested in staring at a device with flashing lights, etc. that only distract you from the stories of the past. We’re glad you enjoyed your guide, the buildings and the stories. There are more to ghost tours than just cemeteries which is why we avoid those crowded spots on our tour.

Very informative tour!!! Had a lovely experience! Learned a lot. Very different approach from other ghost tour guides that take you on usual routes like the cemeteries. I learned and saw so much!! It did rain and he was well equipped with ponchos for us!
