Tour starts inside where you check in which we weren’t told about & missed. Trolley goes to a cemetery and then a jail where you depart the trolley. Then while driving to those spots the guide talks about different hauntings. Guides stayed in character which was fun. Won’t take more than once. Not sure it was worth the money.
This was a fun ghost tour with a great blend of History, myths, and personal experiences mixed in. The ghost host (Thomas) was really good, and lovely, as was our driver (Elvira) and our Old Jail inmate, "Charlie" (played by Tim). If anything, we wished the tour would last another 30mins or so with another stop or two. Well worth the money.
very entertaining. good for all ages. minimal walking but there is some.
Very interactive. Definitely will go again
We loved this tour , It isn't really scary its more like a history lesson of deaths that occurred around the town of St Augustine. My friend did get a really creepy pic of little boy James at the cemetery! I never believed in ghost but that pic makes me question things.
Ask for Isabella as tour guide. She was great. Very knowledgeable with a bit of humor to keep everyone engaged
Family friendly ghost tour and was also interactive which we didn’t realize when we booked. You get to go inside potters wax museum, the old jail, outside the cemetery and the actual trolley ride. My kids really liked the tour and didn’t find it too scary. Alastor and Chuckles were great tour guides and really made it fun and (good) scary at the same time.
We had a wonderful time! Scarlet was an amazing host and the drivers and actors were fantastic! Everyone was fantastic from beginning to end! Highly recommend but it is dark and young children may get scared.,
It sucks...save your cash. The whole thing was a joke. Worst "tour" Ive ever been on. If I could have hopped off I would have.
My only complaint is that we didn't go to more places! The bus was cool and comfortable and the stories were entertaining. The kids loved it. The sites we visited would have cost the same amount as the tickets without the tour. Definitely a super cool experience!
Here’s a cleaner, stronger version that keeps your point without making it sound dramatic or petty:
The haunted trolley tour was okay. It was not a complete waste of time, and there were a few good moments, but I would never do it again and would have been perfectly happy to have skipped it.
Our tour guide was clearly knowledgeable, but she spoke far too quickly and delivered the information with very little excitement or entertainment value. We could barely hear or follow much of what she was saying.
The tour also required us to get on and off the trolley several times. The guide did not ask guests to return to their original seats, so someone took ours and we took someone else’s. We later learned that this accidentally separated a family, which could have been avoided with clearer instructions.
The company also does not make it clear that the tour involves walking, uneven surfaces, and stairs. An elderly woman in our group nearly fell more than once and was unable to participate in the final portion. These physical requirements should be stated clearly before booking and again at the beginning of the tour.
Overall, it was not a good experience. The locations were underwhelming, the guide was difficult to hear, and the tour was not exciting or especially entertaining. The only genuinely enjoyable parts were the live actors.
Great experience, host was amazing and did a great job at telling the history of the ghost. I did catch a few orbs on my phone.
It was a really fun haunted tour! I would highly recommend! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable. He said it was his first tour, but he did a fantastic job! A lot of interesting St Augustine history and a couple of really spooky stops!
Great and the personnel super knowledgeable
I loveeeee it my husband first time and he enjoyed it a lot
It was OK we’ve done one in Savannah that was much cooler. This one was too much about theatrics and not really spooky or really interesting at all.
Very colorful team that made the tour very much fun!
Team at the jail was very informative, but very much fun to keep everyone entertained
I wish that it would’ve been more explained that there was walking and on top of that stairs that were meant to be that needs to be climbed on the tour. I feel like it could just be a little bit more explained. My mother is unable to really walk and definitely unable to climb stairs so that part was unfortunate. I also feel like a pamphlet or a paper that kind of explained the different locations and history at sometimes it was hard to hear.
Great time! The hostess and the role players were funny and just so awesome! Will definitely be back
All of the workers were awesome and made the experience so much fun, I went with my baby daddy, and it was our first time we really enjoyed it
10/10 experience. The tour was very up close, and very informative. All of the tour guides were very interactive and helpful when asked any questions. Fun for all ages!
Had a great time you actually get to get off trolley and go into places like the old jail potters wax museum and the cemetery
Fantastic- history plus ghost stories in one and the “cast” was excellent. Friendly people, perfect length. Nice Trolly.
We were looking forward to a seated ghost tour and it was even better than we expected. Well worth the money, we laughed and learned the whole time!
It is not scary. It’s very informative and educational. Went in with my wife and daughter not knowing what to expect but it was great. Tour guides and characters were amazing and made it so cool.
A little lighthearted fun! Stories of pirates and kids who walk the cemetery at night. With stops at the Jail and wax museum to give you just an introduction to these fine establishments! The characters gave an excellent theatrical presentation!
Delightful trolley ride with Lenora! She was very sweet and did a great job with the presentation of the tour despite being new to the gig. She was enthusiastic and engaging. The tour itself is a unique delight—it’s a little different than traditional ghost tours, but that didn’t make it any less fun!
Very well put together tour with numerous stops. The later the better for spookiness. Going to the jail last was great. Even though we did the jail by itself previous trips this was awesome because of the actors and being the only group there.
Absolutely worth it! Fun stuff!!
Take the last tour. Chuck/Chuckles was quite the hit!
Make sure you participate. Enjoy!
We might have been expecting something different but we were disappointed with the tour. Some of it was entertaining but some not so much.
This ghost tour was an amazing experience and very well worth it. There was plenty of time at each stop to truly learn the history and soak in the atmosphere. Getting to experience the Potter’s Wax Museum and the Old Jail was incredible and made the night feel immersive and fun. Our speaker, Selene, was knowledgeable, engaging, and kept the stories captivating throughout the tour. Slasher Steve was a great driver and added to the overall experience, and “inmate” Charlie was a fantastic touch that made the Old Jail visit unforgettable. Overall, it felt like we got to experience so much of St. Augustine in just one night. Highly recommend!
Very entertaining and a fun time. We had a great time. The staff was great and did a great job. We would recommend.
