Such a fun experience! The haunted golf cart tour was entertaining, informative, and just the right level of spooky. We loved learning about St. Augustine’s history while hearing the ghost stories tied to each location. The golf cart made it easy and comfortable to see so much of the city. Pass if you can’t get a forward facing seat

Got stuck in the backwards facing seat so we could not see what was being talked about until we passed it. I have a bad back and you feel every bump back there . Definitely affecting our enjoyment of the tour. There are golf carts with all forward facing seats…. Not sure why they choose this one if their business revolves around tours.

Hi Cindy, Allow us to address your review point by point: You were “stuck” in a back facing seat because you were late arriving to the tour. The guide was in the process of calling you when you walked up, drink of unspecified nature in hand. The next point, perhaps you “felt every bump” because you were both visibly intoxicated, and frankly should have been denied admission wholesale. As to “affecting the enjoyment of the tour,” you negatively affected others’ enjoyment when you, against many specified rules of the company, jumped off the cart at a busy intersection for we still don’t know what reason. You were verbally admonished, and exhibited behavior we typically do not even tolerate from young children. Odd that your review makes no mention of this, but then that would reveal that its motivation was not discomfort, but sour grapes. We encourage you to be more mindful of other companies’ rules in the future, as we invite you not to return to ours. Best regards, Sergey

Unfortunately, we couldn't take the tour because there were some events in town and there was no parking, it was all full, and where there was parking, it was very far away. We also wrote to them asking for the address where they were supposed to pick us up, but they only sent us the name, and we were never able to find the pick-up point. We lost all our money.

However, we want to clarify for future guests: ✅ Due to a special event in town that night, our office took the extra step of personally contacting you (as we did with all guests) on the morning of your tour to review the meeting location, parking options, and timing. Three tours successfully departed that evening, and all other guests arrived on time. ✅ The meeting point was clearly listed on your Viator confirmation, and our staff spoke with you multiple times by phone that day. Unfortunately, during these calls we noted that the conversation was interrupted several times while you translated to your group, which may have caused you to miss key details. This experience is conducted in English, and while we welcome international guests, it’s important to carefully review the written instructions on your voucher. ✅ Ten minutes prior to departure our guide also attempted to reach you again, but the call was not answered neither we received a call back. As our tours must depart on time for the benefit of all guests, the group left as scheduled. It’s also worth noting that you did not contact our office the following day. Had you done so politely, we would have been glad to extend a courtesy voucher as we often do when guests experience genuine difficulties. Instead, you went directly to posting a negative review without ever participating in the tour. We kindly remind all guests to: • Review their booking voucher carefully. • Allow extra time for downtown parking, especially during special events. • Listen attentively during pre-tour phone call • Contact us promptly if any issues arise. We pride ourselves on excellent communication and guest service, as reflected in the many positive reviews from visitors who successfully join our tours every day. Ghost Tour Experience, Unique to the Others

Very different from the other tours. More history involved about exactly why the areas of St. Augustine are haunted. Our tour guide, Chance, is extremely knowledgeable in the history and haunting experiences and made this tour unique from the others. He points out the areas to visit to embrace some "long time" residents of St. Augustine that haven't moved on yet. Beware of the darker ones, they may want to follow you home. Thanks again Chance for the great tour. We will be sure to spread the word about your First Coast Cart Tours. This is a very special tour since they are small groups of people per tour. The Best Thing We Did in St. Augustine!

What an awesome tour! Chance was our guide and was fantastic. Super personable, and taught us not just about the ghostly past of St. Augustine but also mixed in tons of historical aspects as well that we found ourselves researching and checking out even after the tour. This was our very first ghost tour (my wife, our 3 boys, and myself) and it certainly won’t be our last. However I think this one would be hard to beat! We didn’t know what to expect as we aren’t really into paranormal/ghost type stuff in our family. But it was so interesting, so much fun, and something we found ourselves talking about the rest of the night, including looking through all of our pics to see if we caught anything. We found lots of unique things in our pics that we are still trying to understand and explain. Little unique squiggles of lights in different colors in the sky, and even a few orbs. Chance also offers a historical tour and a food tour. Rest assured it is #1 on top of our list to do next time we are in town. Chance left me and my son and another party off at lighter museum out of nowhere he stated we have been drinking and was issuing a refund. My adult son had a drink I in fact do not drink. We were enjoying the tour. We wanted to take the tour. He didnt even warn us. When he said we were drunk and would be issued a refund. I thought he was joking so we walked back to the Cart and he took off without my party and the other party to walk back to our cars.

Hi Lilian, First off, we train our guides extensively on verbiage. He did not say “drunk,” he said “intoxicated,” which he believes you were and is well qualified to make that assessment. Regardless of the nature of the intoxication (please do not think we are so naive that we believe that vaporizer both you and your son drew from constantly was only tobacco), your son in particular was extremely disruptive to the tour: blowing vape smoke into his shirt because it became so noticeable and continuous, dangling of the side of the cart, incessantly interrupting the guide. These behaviors are not acceptable, and in our experience are tell-tale signs of intoxication. Furthermore vaping is prohibited. Asking others on the cart if “it’s ok that we vape” is not acceptable. Putting the tour guide in a position of making the call when you clearly had the rules presented to you in writing is not acceptable. It is not the guide’s job to police adults on how to behave in public, it is his job to run a safe tour, which your group greatly inhibited. We refer you to your original contract signed with your booking provider. Secondly, of course he did not drive you back to your car: 1.You broke the rules that caused your own ejection 2.We provided you a FULL refund, more than enough to pay for an Uber anywhere in the city or surrounding area 3. The central historic district is only 22 square blocks, easily walkable for any unimpaired person. 4. Most importantly, our company does not deliver intoxicated people to their cars so they can further endanger others. Had we done so we would have had to report you to the authorities. Consider us parting ways at the scene a favor to you We run a public, family-friendly tour. You flaunted both the spirit and letter of that statement. This is also a fun city, and we accept all patrons, even those who imbibe and have a good time, who can maintain some level of decorum. Your party could not. The tour in question did complete, and the remaining guests expressed relief at your removal.
