Fabulous experience - worth it for the views alone
Great trip! Worth it for the views of the stunning, moody Kenai coastline alone with the snowcapped mountains, glaciers and seastacks. Saw tonnes of wildlife - horned puffins, bald eagles, stellar sealions, porpoise, sea otters, a beaver, loads of seals. Boat was warm and comfortable, plenty of spacing for viewing on the deck, and nice to have snacks available to purchase on board.

Amazing beautiful views of Alaska from the water
If you want a relaxing and beautiful escape to view Alaska’s gems in and on the water this is the trip for you. I went solo but it’s great for families and anyone of all ages. The boat crew were spectacular, knowledgeable and hospitable. Always checking to ensure guest were comfortable and available to answer questions. I respect the fact that the captain of the boat knew the habitats of the animals and respected their space by moving away or leaving if she felt the animals were uncomfortable with the boat. We were able to see sea lions, seals, wild goats and porpoises!! The snacks and beverages offered were perfect and reasonably priced. I recommend dressing in layers- waterproof shoes, sunglasses, hats, scarves and gloves. I’m extra so I had electric hand chargers and this was a game changer. Towards the end of the cruise, — coming back to shore II actually felt so relaxed I took a little nap.

Wow!
A fantastic trip. My second one in the last 9 years. We were blessed to see many large pods of Oricas! When the captain said she was going to go a little of path we had no idea what a treat it would be. Well ( or should I say" whale") worth the time and money!

It was a rainy day and...
It was a rainy day and still an awesome trip. Saw bald eagles, otters, seals, sea lions, and a whale spouting. Scenery and Ailik glacier are beautiful. A few passengers had issues with sea sickness so recommend medication before trip if you are sensitive to that.

Most of Alaska is wilderness, so Seward is a convenient base for exploring the great outdoors. The city is next to Kenai Fjords National Park and many Seward tours include excursions in the park. Cruises offer views of stunning glaciers and you might even spot wildlife such as otters, whales, porpoises, and puffins. If you’d prefer something more adventurous, consider a guided glacier hike, a kayaking trip on Resurrection Bay, or even a dog sled ride.
