Choose from two morning departure times and embark on a 6-hour Kenai Fjords National Park cruise from Seward. Step aboard a 95-foot-long (29-meter) non-smoking cruise vessel designed with comfort in mind. Capture views of jagged icy cliffs along the Kenai Peninsula, fjords and calving glaciers — from inside the warm and spacious cabin equipped with seating and large picture windows, or from the multi-level observation decks.
Enjoy a fast cruising speed, with extra time to photograph and view wildlife and glaciers. Learn about the evolving geology of the Harding Icefield, which dates back to the ice age and forms the steep fjords. As you journey approx. 100 miles (160 kilometers) round-trip from Seward, marvel at the breathtaking landscape teeming with marine life amid plankton-rich waters, which attract migrating whales.
Hear from your seasoned captain about the wildlife you’re likely to see at peak season, which may include humpback, minke and orca whales, as well as harbor seals, sea otters and porpoises.
Catch sight of migratory seabirds that nest in the Kenai Fjords, as well as other native flora and fauna. Watch puffins dive underwater and view the rookeries of more than 18 other bird species in the Alaska Maritime National Wildlife Refuge, including black-legged kittiwakes and common murres.
Enjoy an onboard lunch before the captain sets voyage back to Seward port.

Absolute must if you are visiting the area. The scenery and wildlife are once in a lifetime experiences! The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The food is whatever but you’re not on the boat to eat.

The boat ride was great. The all female crew did a very good job awnsering question and being informative of what was the boat was doing at all times. Just a little caution you will have alot of motion with the boat on part of the tour. Great Job!

What a fantastic experience. Everyone on the boat crew was very responsive to our needs and questions. We saw so much wildlife, including bald eagles, sea otters, birds, seals, and most of all a black bear on the shore near one of the. Glaciers. Also, the lunch they served was quite good. A chicken burrito with chips and salsa. Tasty. And then towards the end of the cruise, they served everyone warm chocolate chip cookies. It was fantastic. They also have drinks, sodas, juices, coffee, if you’d want to buy something. Would definitely recommend this if you are in Seward.

We were warned ahead of time that there would be rough water and bad weather. We could have canceled for a full refund, I'm so glad we decided to go. We were able to see eagles, otters, two types of seals and everyone's favorite a huge pod of resident Orcas, on our way into the glacier and again on our way out. Emma was our captain, she was amazing. She kept us going, we were able to do the full trip which she decided as we went. The swells were big, we did a lot of rocking and rolling. Several people did get sick. It poured off and on so that made it hard to get good photos.

This boat tour through Kenai Fjords was absolutely worth it! Great crew and captain. Captain was so knowledgeable about all the locations we visited while in the national park. We got to see whales, puffins, a variety of sea birds, and sea lions. Such a great experience, will definitely be doing again if in the area!

Crew works hard to let you see marine life. Dancing Orcas, sea lions, harbor seals, sea otter, jelly fish, porpoises and puffins. Glacier was beautiful. We had a very enjoyable trip even though the weather did not cooperate.

Excellent cruise. Great crew. Saw some astonishing sights. We went the last week of August - should have done it earlier in the month as we learned that most of the whale species had begun migrating south about a week before.

It was a nice boat ride with a beautiful view of the glacier. We saw a little sea life, but unfortunately it was very cloudy. When I booked the trip, I was given the option of ordering something different for lunch due to food sensitivities, but the choice I made was not available. Very disappointing.

This is the second time I've done the Kenai Fjord tour, 30 years apart, and it never ceases to awe.
The captain maneuvers the boat for the best viewing from wherever you are positioned on the boat. They are excellent in spotting the wildlife, knowledgeable and providing passenger comfort,
This trip I traveled with my son and 7 yr old granddaughter that live in a warm climate so my advise would be
dress warm,in layers, a warm jacket and hat,
Bring something for the kids to do between amazing wildlife sightings and soaking in the amazing natural scenery. We had brought along an informational book (we had purchased prior in a gift shop) that was all about the ocean. It added an added educational experience to complement the captain's commentary that was specific to the Alaskan location and animal species. The crew was friendly.
The process of booking the tour is user friendly with plenty of reminders.

This was wonderful. It was VERY windy, our cruise boat was kept in harbour an extra 3 hours, yet we went out and had a great day. For some reason it was calm at the glacier and we were up close enough to see both the seals and the calving. We also saw basking sea lions and many sea birds but the tour was really about the majesty of the National Park and its glaciers. Staff were lovely
