I was only in Salem for a day and there was so much to do/learn that I knew I had to get a tour to get a lay of the town. I booked this and saw that I was the only one for my tour! Jeff was an AMAZING tour guide and provided so much thoughtful information on the historical inaccuracies and included what the actual REAL history was! He was so knowledgeable on everything we talked about and gave so much life to the victims whose lives were cut short due to the hysteria. He is also a resident of Salem so he knows exactly what he’s talking about, living here for all of his life.
This is a tour I would recommend to anyone who wants to get an idea of what Salem was like back in the 17th century. Jeff is the one you’d want to experience this with!

Our tour with Jeff was the highlight of our day in Salem. He was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the history of his hometown as well as the Salem Witch Trials. We could’ve never seen and learned as much as we did if we had toured Salem without Jeff. Highly recommend!

This tour was absolutely brilliant! Jeff was so knowledgeable and informed about the local history. While walking around town earlier in the day, we heard and saw several tours led buy guides in costumes, cackling, shouting out “Kill the Witch” and if that is what you are looking for, this likely isn’t the tour for you. Thankfully, this tour exists for those of us who are more interested in learning the history through facts. Salem is steeped in history beyond a singular event and there were reasons for the witch trials. We decided we wanted to explore and learn about the area beyond the haunted houses and torture chambers. Again, nothing wrong with enjoying those things if that’s your style but if you are looking for a serious exploration (with a bit of fun, too) then this tour can’t be beat!

The creator of this tour and the actual tour guide are curators of the history of the Salem Witch Trials IMHO. This tour is the real deal. It blew me away. I felt the passionate, care and investment put into the creation of the material as well as the delivery. My tour was led by Jeremiah. He was really wonderful. In the beginning of the tour there is a good amount of time laying the foundational material prior to the actual events of the Witch trials and how the circumstances of the time set the stage for the hysteria that followed. What an impactful tour given by a tour guide with great investment and integrity. It was SO GOOD. I was so bummed after missing my ghost tour on Halloween and this experience completely erased that disappointment from my mind. The true story of the witch trials is such an important part of history to revisit because there are signs and themes that have consistently repeated particularly in the current climate of our country. I hope that this tour reaches as many people as possible because we never think something this horrific could happen to us but in reality we are closer than we think to repeating history. Stay mindful informed and invested in being on the right side of history. Thank you for an incredible experience.

Our tour guide, Jeff, was amazing. No notes, no prompts. He knew the history and told it in an interesting, thoughtful way. 2 hours packed full of facts, folklore, and stories, including specific details of the people who were called witches. Highly recommended.

Geoff was absolutely fantastic! As a true local, his knowledge of Salem is impressive and authentic. What made this tour exceptional was his balanced approach - he shared the captivating folklore and legends that make Salem famous, but then thoughtfully explained the actual historical facts behind the stories. This gave us the best of both worlds: the mystery and intrigue we came for, plus a real understanding of what actually happened.
You can genuinely feel Geoff's love for his hometown throughout the entire experience. His passion for Salem's history, both the myths and the reality, made the tour educational and engaging. Jeff is a local and VERY knowledgeable guide about the Salem area and the 1692 Witchtrials. As someone who studied History you can tell that Jeff really does his due diligence to learn everything he can about Salem as new stories emerge and old myths are debunked.
