There were 5 kids ages 2-7 on our tour. Our guide spoke on a level that kept all of the children interested & she included them in the storytelling. The adults also enjoyed the history & the details about the lives of Salem past. Excellent activity for young & old. Not too much walking, each stop provided a break as we listened & learned some interesting history told in a lighthearted way.

Alicia was awesome. I have three kids aged 5, 7, and 1.5 and they were so enthralled by her story telling and enthusiasm. On top of that she made sure all kids were able to see and ask questions.

Such an amazing tour. Our three girls ages 6 and 3 had an absolute blast. Dossier was so fun and perfectly geared the tour to the ages of the kids involved. They were kind, considerate, and an excellent story teller. Will definitely come back for this tour or others by Salem kids tours.

My 6 and 9 year old enjoyed the tour very much! The tour guide was friendly, patient, and explained the history in a kid friendly way. My kids give her ‘1,000 stars.’ We highly recommend!

It was fun but it totally was not scary. Our tour guide was amazing and super knowledgeable about the history and was able to explain the history to the kids ranging from 3/4 years of age to high school in a manner everyone could understand from the beginning of Salem to the end of the Witch Trials.

We had a fantastic time on the Slightly Spooky Tour! Alicia was an amazing guide — funny, energetic, and full of knowledge. She had a great way of keeping the kids engaged while also sharing lots of interesting facts about Salem's history. The tour struck the perfect balance between fun and informative, with just the right amount of spooky for younger ones. We learned so much and really enjoyed exploring this beautiful and historic town. Highly recommend it for families visiting Salem!

This was a great tour centered towards the kids but interesting for the adults too. The guide was super friendly and took time to engage each child. The tour was not too long not too short and touched on a lot of good (and bad) history but at a level the kids could relate to.

Our guide Alicia was fantastic! Super funny, engaging with the kids and knowledgeable. I would have loved a bit more ghost stories, but I get it bc it’s a kids tour! Highly recommend for your littles!

The tour was great! It gave a great balance of history at a level my 5 year old could understand! Alisha was wonderful and flexible to the younger crowd! 10 out of 10 would recommend to anyone taking their family to Salem!

We were looking for a tour that would capture the kids' interest in the area and its history. We really liked our tour guide; she was sweet, a teacher, and very knowledgeable about the area. I think maybe a little humor, some pictures or artifacts, or some shtick would have made it a better tour for the little ones—it just seemed like a middle school field trip. A little dry.

While the guide was knowledgeable and provided interesting historical facts, the tour was boring and did not engage my 7 or 10 year old boys.

Cute little tour for a brief history of Salem. Not too scary at all. We took our 5 year old and he didn’t really care too much about any of it (which is typical) but I enjoyed it. Recommend!

I highly recommend taking the Salem Kids Slightly Spooky Tour if you are visiting Salem with kids. While visiting New England, we had done two other tours that were enjoyable for us but not engaging enough or too long to hold our 8-year-old’s attention. This tour was just the right amount of time and the right amount of detail to keep him engaged the whole time while also being just as enjoyable for us.

Phenomenal tour with fantastic tour guide. She was not only incredibly knowledgable and engaging, but she also took time to make the connection between what took place in Salem in the 1690s to what is happening in modern-day America. As a mother who is trying to educate her children on the importance of pattern recognition and learning from history’s mistakes, I really appreciated it. Thank you!
