What are people saying about Rome

A taste of Rome
This was a fun neighborhood experience with our guide Arianna, who genuinely and enthusiastically loves her city of Rome. This isn’t primarily a history walk, though Arianna does give some interesting background on the places we pass and stop, but a lovely way to enjoy lots of new or favorite Roman foods while exploring the city. .

It was a great day trip...
It was a great day trip and a great way to relax while you’re on vacation! Our guide Paula was so nice and great about keeping us in schedule! During the drive back to Rome, she also gave a lot of history facts and talked about the upcoming Liberation Day. The food and wine was also delicious!

Highlight of my trip so far!
My experience on the tour was wonderful! We made 5 stops, trying many local bites. We ate some cured meats & cheeses, Suppli, traditional roman pizza, fried artichoke in the jewish neighborhood, and finished with gelato. Our tour guide also taught us about the history of the neighborhood between each stop, and struck the perfect balance between learning and conversation amongst our group. I would highly recommend!

Fun tour with great food & wine
Our guide Tina was fantastic! She not only introduced us to the food and wine, but also explained their origins and history. We stayed in that part of Rome, and it was very close to Vatican City, with lots of wonderful restaurants. Every choice for restaurant / wine & food shop on the tour was excellent and very tasty. It was great being in an area with less tourists and more locals. Highly recommended!!

Eating in Rome is considered an art form, practically a religion—and that's true whether you’re chowing down on a supplí (oblong rice ball) or slice of pizza al taglio, or savoring a 3-course meal with wine pairings in a little osteria. There’s no better way to partake in local fare than by indulging in a Rome food tour. From sampling fried street food staples in bustling Trastevere or the Jewish ghetto to tasting wines in the Castelli Romani, food experiences provide an insider’s look at the city’s culinary culture and history. Aspiring chefs can try cooking time-tested recipes, too.
