Itinerary
This full-day tour of Iceland’s southern coast starts with hotel pickup (if option selected) or pickup from a central meeting point. Take a ride on a coach bus through the farming lands to a unique spot of the coast.
The first stop of the day is at Skogafoss waterfall on the Skoga River. This massive waterfall has been known to be featured in famous films. After snapping some photos here, it’s time to take a break for lunch (own expense) at a local restaurant.
Once you’re feeling satisfied from your meal, your guide takes you and your group over to Reynisfjara to explore the black-sand beaches. Enjoy views of the Atlantic Ocean’s waves crashing over the sands.
Afterward, visit Seljalandsfoss waterfall where you might be able to see Hekla, Eyjafjallajokull, and the Westman Islands. Sit back and relax on your bus ride to Reykjavik. Your guide drops you off at your original departure point in time for dinner in the evening.

Overall the tour was nice and very knowledgeable tour guide the only comment I have is the driver did not properly dropped us off to our hotel instead we need to walk and crossed the street to reach and walked to our Hotel

This tour hit some of the previous spots we saw on a south coast tour we did the day before, but with the weather changes the landscape looked different. The glacier on this tour wasn’t as stunning as Vatnajokull, but it was still nice to see. The black beach was incredible but a little scary as people did not head the warnings and got close to the sneaker waves. Several people got yelled at. Overall, it was a great experience.

The itinerary is good but packed … and so are the seats on the coach! The seat rows don’t have enough space between them which makes it uncomfortable for a 10 1/2 hour journey. There are so many people on the coach that it takes time to disembark at each stop and there is quite limited time at each stop as it is (a trade-off for being able to see that many places in one day). I would probably recommend a small group version of this tour , even if it costs more

It’s a long 10 hours but if the weather is good it’s well worth it. Bring snacks and be prepared to walk quickly - the breaks are short but enough time. Our driver Tomas z and Gunnar R were both professional and caring.

Have a places we just have 30 minutes (waterfall), that is enough! But for stop launching always we have a 50 minutes(((

This tour was fantastic! We had such a great tour guide, Unnur Maria, who taught us so much about Iceland and its people and its geology as well! She made our journey so enjoyable and educational!! We had an amazing trip - our guide, Gunnar (Dr G) was super knowledgeable and very informative, as well as having a fantastic sense of humour. We saw the most beautiful sites, Gunnar gave great photo stop recommendations, and our driver Reynir was also excellent. A must for those that want to explore natural Iceland outside Reykjavik!

This was an amazing adventure. Was able to see all the main areas of Iceland on our list. Raining a lot but the tour guy and bus driver brought us to areas of less rain in the area first and then back to the other spots so we were able to see all the sights and take amazing pictures

I had a fantastic time with our guide Richie and driver Mikki - they were fantastic! A long tour, Richie kept us entertained and was incredibly knowledgeable about geology, history, pop culture - you name it. Mikki was incredibly patient and drove us all safe and sound. I came on this tour alone and enjoyed every moment of it! Definitely wear waterproof clothes - they’re needed. Special shout out to the great playlist from Richie!!

This was a wonderful tour of the South Coast! Our guide Richie truly made this a memorable experience, as he was very knowledgeable and had a wonderful playlist to keep us entertained while driving past scenic views. We learned about the geology of Iceland, and saw so many waterfalls. We were searching for a tour that would allow a good amount of time in Vik, which we found with this tour. We had lunch in Vik, and had time to walk around a bit.

Our guide Richie and driver mikki both were amazing, it was a long day but they were really amazing even when some people on the bus wanted a different drop off location. Also amazingly beautiful places we went. Just a suggestion that if stop at black sand beach could be longer because lunch place over there was better than at Vik. Vik has more options though.

Great experience! The guide Gudjon Jes and the driver Bartek were amazing with storytelling and all the details about south coast of Iceland. You visit all the popular spots plus you have a laugh. Highly recommended!

A fantastic opportunity to see the southern coast of Iceland which shows you two volcanos which are due to erupt as it is has been some time since they have. Black beach was beautiful a must see and some beautiful waterfalls

This is an excellent tour. Our tour guide Richi and driver Magnus were amazing and helped to make it a most memorable day. I have never had a tour guide curate the music in the bus to go along with the sights. There were just so many of these little extra things that added to the experience. The glacier, the waterfalls, Black Diamond beach and the geiser helped provide us with an Icelandic experience. Would recommend.

A long but amazing day. We encountered heavy snow and a blizzard but all the sights were still amazing. We particularly enjoyed the walk to the glazier. Coach was very comfortable and warm on a cold and snowy day. Glad we did not hire a car and booked a coach tour. Albert ( tour guide) was very knowledgable and friendly

My sister and I loved this tour. Our tour guide was Gunnar, and he was incredible. We had a gas station stop shortly into the tour which allowed us to get coffee, a pastry and make a bathroom run. We went to Skógafoss, Vik, Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach, Solheimajokull Glacier and then ended with Seljalandfoss. The itinerary felt well planned and I felt we had enough time at each stop. Vik is where we stop for lunch and there was enough time and food options. My only advice is dress appropriately, Iceland weather can be unpredictable.

Horrible....we waited in hotel lobby due to rain....had my 88 yr old father with us...he has mobility issues..walks slow with cane....we were in lobby....no one from transportation company came in.....waited 30 minutes....called company and was told that the driver came to hotel...we missed our adventure all because of a lazy driver....guess they didn't want to get wet ??? We missed our trip and are out the $400 + ....

Very unprofessional, especially when the driver should of had our names and the number of people that they are to pick up at each location !!!! He also should of had our phone number as it is given when you book a trip !!! No call...no come into hotel....a complete disgrace....Horrible lack of service...sent email to travel provider.....no response....asked for refund....crickets

We loved this tour. Yes it was a long day, but natural wonders of the world are not conveniently next door to each other!
The tour guide was excellent. His knowledge and delivery was informative and interesting.
The waterfalls were magnificent, the black sand beach incredible, but it was seeing the glacier that took our breath away.
Thank you to our guide and the driver, Robert. A day we will never forget.

It’s a long day but definitely worth it, bring waterproof coat for the waterfalls and snacks to keep you going.
This tour was fantastic! our favorite one we did our whole trip. our guide (roman?) was excellent; funny, entertaining
and planned our whole day around the weather to make sure we never got caught in the rain. would definitely recommend this tour to everyone!
