Your tour begins at your Reykjavik hotel, where you board a Wi-Fi-equipped minibus. Over the course of your tour, discover the highlights of the Golden Circle, a 185-mile (300-km) route home to spectacular natural landmarks.
The first stop is Kerid, a crater lake filled with milky blue water that cascades down black and red rocks.
Then, stop at Efstidalur farm to sample Icelandic delicacies and learn about traditional agricultural practices.
Continue on to Geysir and Strokkur, whose boiling mud pits and erupting geysers create an incredible sight.
See, too, the colossal Gulfoss Waterfall, whose powerful torrents of water plunge into a deep crevasse 105 feet (32 meters) below.
The final stop is Thingvellir National Park, where the Eurasian and North American tectonic plates collide. Marvel at vast landscapes littered with rock formations and geysers before embarking your vehicle and arriving back in Reykjavik.

We had the most insightful, fun and knowledgeable guide! Experiencing the Golden Circle with the Farm and Greenhouse was an incredible combination that helped us connect with the awe-inspiring nature. Helgi was an attentive, personable, hilarious and wonderfully nerdy guide (hello fellow Star Wars and Lord of the Rings fan!) who elevated our experience. His in-depth commentary, great recommendations and thoughtful answers livened the mood and made for an incredible time around Iceland’s breathtaking scenery. Thank you for an unforgettable day!

John Paul, our driver and tour guide in the small group tour, was a wealth of knowledge. When we were at tour stop 8 instead of 9, I called Viator. The rep connected me with EastWest. They called driver John Paul. who picked up up at stop 8 so we got our Gold Circle tour!

The landscapes of Iceland are unique and stunning. The tour gave us a glimpse of many fascinating aspects of the Iceland, the horses, the tomato farm, the geysers, craters, waterfalls. Absolutely breathtaking and different from British Columbia! LOVED it. The stop at the horses and tomato farm were very welcome :)

We covered a lot of ground in a long day. Our guide Vjeran was informative and a lot of fun. He took pictures for us and couldn't have been better. We had plenty of time at each location. Lol nch at the tomato farm could have been the highlight of the day!

An excellent tour to see the highlights of the Golden Circle. Bus Travel Iceland was well organized and the minibus (small group tour) was clean, comfortable and in great shape. Our guide, Mikki, was excellent! He is knowledgeable, personable and friendly. He explains things clearly, answers questions thoroughly, and was a definite plus for the experience. Our tour did the typical Golden Circle stops, and added as options the Fridheimar farm (Icelandic horses and greenhouse tomatoes & vegetables). We did not have high expectations for the farm, but were very pleasantly surprised - they were both very interesting and lunch at the farm was very good. The usual sights on this tour (volcano crater, geyser, Gullfoss waterfall, tectonic plate junction) need no further accolades from me. They are all well worthwhile. For future tours, we would definitely seek out Bus Travel Iceland and Mikki if available.

Amazing experience all together. Michael the driver and also tour guide was an excellent host. He showed tremendous knowledge of the history and culture of his country. He was also very polite and helpful with all tour participants. The sites visited were all interesting, with amazing views. We would highly recommend this tour to everyone interested in the history and geography of Iceland.

Must do trip in Iceland. We went to the designated places - golden circle and the farm, but what made the trip extra great was our “extra” leader Siggi. He is quite jovial, high energy and also very knowledgeable about the history of iceland, past and present. He was willing to answer questions and have a discussion on any subject, literally. If there was anything of interest along the way he would stop so we could experience it so the adventure was even more enriched. Highly recommend.

We absolutely loved the places visited (apart from the first stop for "facilities" which IMHO was completely unnecessary) as every stop had facilities.
The horse demonstration and the waterfall were the highlights, but none of the stops were bad. The reason for not 5* is we waited at the pickup point for 50 minutes (in the rain) watching countless busses come and go. When the bus did arrive the microphone didn't work and with all the faff we finally left the port @09:38 well over an hour after we arrived. The guide then kept stating we were late!!!! (Not our fault at all)
If we hadn't stopped for ins and outs first, we could have been on time.
I would also recommend stating the tour is 9.5 hours, as that was how long was required, to avoid other customers booking a dinner for 18:15 and then being late (despite the guide cutting the last visit a bit short - but we were late....)!
The mini bus itself was really comfortable with lovely seats and the scenery spectacular. The lunch stop was great too, though a bit pricey, you do have to remember that Iceland is expensive, even more so if you want alcohol.

We saw so many wonderful sights of Ziceland on this tour! Petra was an excellent guide and went the extra mile to not only tell us about the stunning sights on and off the bus, but she also put my walker in and out of the bus many times and always with a smile!

It was a great tour with a great tour guide. So much to see! It was a good mix of viewing while sitting in the van and also walking and viewing a sight.
Yvonne_N, Jun 2026
We enjoyed the tour very much. The Guide was good and shared with us many information about the Golden Circle. Her recommendation of the restaurant for dinner was also great.

Our guide, Vjeran, was superb! He was entertaining, informative, and attentive to our needs. We expected he would be gone after we were held in the queue by the new Immigration process for over an hour. But, Vjeran was there with a beautiful smile and friendly welcome. In spite of the lateness, we hit every highlight. Vjeran was always there to take our photos. Awesome trip! It shows that he loves what he does and showcasing his beautiful country! Thank you for the unforgettable experience!

Fantastic tour! I booked this tour because it was the only one that would take solo travelers with the Friðheimar restaurant. I do wish we had a little more time a couple of the stops. Thank you Juliana for a memorable day her love and passion for Iceland was contagious. Great tour to begin your Iceland adventure !

Small group tour to see the highlights of the Golden Circle. I really enjoyed the stop at Fridheimer Tomato Farm to see the Icelandic horses and the tomato production. Lunch in the winebar was very nice. They were very busy over lunchtime so our order was a long time coming and we had no time to even quickly browse their gift shop. The tomato products looked interesting.
Aside from the time constraints inevitable on a day tour covering a large area, we saw some spectacular scenery (especially Gullfoss and Thingvellir National Park). Our guide was pleasant and informative. It was a day well-spent.

HBO was our bus driver and tour guide this trip. He was very knowledgeable and gave us history and information along the drive. We also got to listen to some music from Iceland artists. The stops were all beautiful.
Nancy_E, May 2026
The farm was absolutely incredible. Both the the greenhouses, the lunch and the site for lunch, and the horse farm. Highly recommend it!

Rachael_M, May 2026
Cubas was our guide and very friendly. It was a full day with lots to see! It was a small group and the bus was new and comfortable.
Vicki_T, May 2026
Many great sites to see. Loved the visit to horse farm and tomato greenhouse. Would have preferred to be in regular restaurant and not wine bar. Only concern was our little bus had no shocks and driver drove fast. It was a teeth rattling trip.
Saispurthi_P, May 2026
Amazing experience! Our guide was very knowledgeable and super friendly! The tour was well organized and timed out well. Highly recommend it!
Philip_S, May 2026
The trip is a full day driving and sightseeing experience. Our driver and guide, Ottar, was knowledgeable and friendly and plenty of time was allowed for exploring. The farm visit was good and an excellent lunch could be purchased for a supplementary price. The tour highlight for me was to see the geyser erupt,
thrusting hot water many feet into the air. And if you missed this photo/video opportunity the first time, not to mind. It happens every few minutes.
Rich_R, Apr 2026
My wife and I had a wonderful experience on this tour. Our guide, Ottar, was very entertaining, personable, and seem to care and enjoy his time with his guests. There were 11 people on this tour in a bus that holds probably around 12 comfortably. All the stops were very interesting, including the stop at the farm which showcased their greenhouse technology as well as their Icelandic horses. He was fun to see these horses up close. Overall, it was a very enjoyable day, and I would highly recommend it to anyone.
MaryEmilie_S, Apr 2026
Fantastic tour!! Joe made the trip so easy to navigate by giving us information about each stop and recommendations for the best viewpoints. Timing was incredible! There was enough time for each stop to really experience the beauty of Iceland!
