IMPORTANT: The pickup starts at 8:30am and usually takes place between 8:30 and 9:00am. So please be ready at 8:30 at your pickup location. NOTE: Please note that this tour is operated by our trusted partner and offers free pickup and drop off from hotels within Reykjavik. As buses are not allowed to drive in certain areas of Reykjavik center, your pick up may be from the nearest BUS STOP #. If you do not mark a hotel or BUS STOP# for pickup, the default pickup place is BUS STOP #8. If your pick-up location is not on our pick-up list then we kindly ask you to locate the closest pick-up point( Hotel or BUS STOP #) to your accommodation from the map or list below and meet us there for your tour. One –two days before tour we will notify you of your exact pick up location and we will tell you all update info if need to know. We also do pickups from the following BUS STOPS : #1, #3, #4,#5, #6, #8, #9, #12,#13 and #15 in Reykjavik, since some hotels are located within traffic restricted areas.

Our vacation was coming to an end and there was time for only one tour. Literally the day before as my eyes are going wonky trying to figure what to choose but we knew we had to see more of beautiful Iceland. Finally decided on this one from EastWest which was the right choice and Devin with his very well spoken English and vast Icelandic knowledge really cement it. The glacier waterfalls are beautiful, the landscapes are wondrous and seeing the countryside makes you further appreciate the country. It’s a long day due these spots being further away from the city but plenty of bathroom breaks and a lunch break. You are not rushed at any of itinerary spots. This small group tour is also great because your tour guide (if you are lucky will get Devin) will pivot if one spots is too crowded or the weather is not ideal and will circle back to it. Definitely recommend this tour.

This tour is good, not great. You see a beach, some waterfalls, a glacier, which are all cool, but not necessarily special. We enjoyed the experience and would still recommend doing it, but our silver circle tour was better. Of course it is a matter of opinion. What you should know is the tour operator and guide are great as well as the vehicle they use to transport you.

The guide is very knowledgeable and provided many information on the whole trip. Safety device like crampons were provided, and got help to put on. There were only 4 people on the trip, I am so glad it didn't get cancelled. The winter view in south coast were amazing.

Antonio was a great driver with plenty of knowledge to share, in a fun way.
The places we visited are amazing.
We did have some boulders rolling down at the glacier, but we managed to avoid them.
You can't go behind the water falls in winter..understandable, but we'll just have to come back.

Anton was an excellent guide with lots of funny anecdotes and interesting facts about Iceland which made the journey easy and entertaining! We managed to hit most of the destinations before the big buses which made seeing the sights much more enjoyable! Being a small group made it much slicker, Anton also provided crampons for us to use which was a nice touch and much needed - we saw lots of people slipping without them. The Glacier for me was the stand out must see but everything was just beautiful and I would highly recommend!

The whole tour was great, the Glacier was a real ‘wow’ but there were so many amazing sights to see! Thomas our driver and guide was brilliant and gave us so much information throughout the day, plus he planned which sights to see when, according to the weather etc. Being in a minibus was also a plus point and as a small group, we all got along well and enjoyed the experience together. A brilliant day!

Antonin(?) our tour guide was wonderful. We couldn’t go to one of the places on the tour because of the weather so he allowed extra time at others. We say a lot of waterfalls, black sand beaches, and glaciers.

Fantastic day out highly recommend this tour ,the driver been really friendly and knowledgable ,the minibus is very comfortable ,wi-fi on the board and charging points for phones is a bonus ,plenty of comfort stops ,we visited 4 waterfalls ,the black sand beach ,glaciers and stopped in Vic for lunch

Found this tour relatively soon as an alternative plan for the day fell through. This tour was 10000x more enjoyable than others. To begin, the sprinter van was so much more comfortable than the other "minibus" of other tour companies which are so uncomfortable & offer no leg room or recline - this tour bus had both. Anton gave us more history and fun facts of Iceland than any other guide and it is so clear he loves his job and Iceland. We never felt rushed at any stop and there were multiple stops for coffee/restrooms throughout the journey.
Again, everything was great but Anton was the best part. Great jokes on top of everything. I caught the "Iceland virus" and plan to utilize tours with back to Iceland. Thanks again for such a memorable day!

The small ground tour around Southern Iceland including our 4 people and one other couple. I was like a private tour. Chris, our guide, was wonderful! He took very good care of us and stopped for bathroom stops, food. He asked if we wanted to see another waterfall and it turned out to be the most beautiful one we saw on our trip. He had many stories to tell on the ride too. We would recommend this tour.

From start to finish this day trip was exceptional. My wife and I travel alot and this day trip was full of great activities. Our driver was great and full of knowledge. He allowed us to call the shots on the trip as it how long we wanted at each activity, when we wanted to stop for breaks and extra time at lunch. I would highly recommend this travel co and this day trip.

If you find yourself reading reviews trying to find the best your company to book your Iceland trips with look no further! The weather can be very unpredictable in Iceland causing plans to change suddenly. We had booked the South Coast tour and Golden Circle tour via Back to Iceland tour company. Thankfully Back to Iceland were very accommodating and changed our tours around to different days so that we were still able to do both. We had tour guide Antanas for both trips. A great guide - funny, informative, flexible with time if able. There was the odd snowy blizzard (with very poor visibility on the roads!) during our trips and we always felt safe thanks to Antanas’ experienced driving. He was also prepared with crampons and ponchos should they be required. The tour itself is quite long approx 9 hours but we enjoyed every minute! Thank you 😊

Excellent experience with Anton who was very nice and knowledgeable. He brought crampons for us to use and be safe. He was funny. It was a small group and that gave us more time to ask questions and explore the different places he was showing us ( so many and so hard to pronounce that I couldn’t remember the names but awesome places). Highly recommended.
