Not to be missed!

This is the best Viator trip I have taken and I have enjoyed many. Our driver/guide was Ramos, who really made this tour exceptional. He is a font of historical knowledge and has a great personality. Our van of 8 people, including my daughter and I were highly entertained and educated about every aspect of the sites visited on this day tour. He suggested photo ops, offered to take photos of us, and told stories to make the sites even more engaging. An optional lunch was offered but my daughter and I and one other woman did not want that much food so he dropped the rest off at the restaurant and took the 3 of us to a lovely beach area nearby where we could choose a more casual meal and wander out on the beach. The entire day was enjoyable and educational. The sites are incredibly interesting from many perspectives—historical, artistic and just plain fun to visit. Don’t miss this opportunity if you have time.

We got to see beautiful sights, learn about the history and culture, and visit places we probably would have missed on our own. The tuk-tuk was such a fun and unique way to explore the city, and the tour felt very personal and relaxed. Amazing tour - wonderful guide and itinerary!

This was such a well curated tour and Tuna was a fabulous tour guide. He was on time for pickup and made sure we stayed on time all day. The wineries were great, the food at lunch was amazing and the ride was very comfortable. Also, it helps when you get great people in your group and we absolutely did. No complaints about our tour, absolutely book it!

Highlight of Porto Trip

The boat was comfortable and there was plenty of room (not crowded!). The crew was amazing and the wine and snacks were great (and generous). The only improvement I would suggest was the check in process was a bit chaotic with several cruises leaving from the marina and uncertainty that we were in the right place until the last minute (several companies operate from that marina). Once got on the boat and all interactions with our crew were excellent! Highly recommend for a relaxing and enjoyable cruise down the Douro! Perfect ending to our time in Porto!

We had a great experience! We visited a few different caves in addition to the main Benagil Cave, which was really nice. Mauro, our guide, was great and gave us lots of interesting information about the caves and the surrounding area. The only thing we wished for was a little more time—the tour went by too quickly! Overall, a really enjoyable experience and definitely worth doing while in Algarve.

Great Food Great Tour!

We did this tour as soon as we landed in Lisbon. Carlos was a great tour guide. He got us acclimated to the city, explained to us the history, and of course, fed us some amazing food. We got to sample authentic Portuguese food and wine, which was delicious. I highly recommend this to start off your trip.

If you travel in summer

Lisbon weather in summer is quite hot, be ready to drink some water and walk . For women, there’s many areas to climb steps, dress properly. I always heard about pickpockets in the city of Lisbon, I took my precautions before I started the journey, but honestly I didn’t see any activity of people around that could it engage on that activity. With my personal experience on this tour I can say that the pickpockets stories are a little bit exaggerated. Be aware and careful everywhere you go in this planet , anyway . Always use your common sense and enjoy your vacation.
