Awesome tour with Barbara

Our tour with Barbara in a Tuk Tuk was great. Barbara did a great job listening to things we wanted to see and tailoring the tour to what we wanted to see. She listened well and adjusted accordingly. As an example, we had seen some of the Belém area already so she focused on the old city. She also asked us our interests so she could include them accordingly. She was insightful and a wealth of knowledge. We did a 3 hour tour focusing on the main old city of Lisbon and it was the perfect amount of time. We travelled with two kids and she did a great job including them to make them feel a part of the tour. She is very professional. She also had a microphone so we could hear her nice and clear. Someone we met in a Lisbon recommended Boost Portugal as they had done a Tuk Tuk tour with them a few days prior and they did not disappoint. I highly recommend this tour company for a Tuk Tuk ride as I have heard sometimes if you pick up a Tuk Tuk on the side of the road those guides are not from Lisbon and may not be as knowledgeable. Lastly, this tour is the way to go to city all of the city and avoids walking up and down all of the hills in Lisbon. So glad we chose to do this tour.

He brought an incredible depth of knowledge, passion and humor to every part of the experience. His insights into the area’s rich history and culture made our excursion come alive in a way that we never could have experienced on our own. Sintra itself is absolutely stunning—full of beautiful architecture, charming streets, and fascinating history. Joaquim went above and beyond to make the tour special, taking the time to answer questions, share local perspectives, and ensure we had a memorable experience. He also took our small group to a wonderful restaurant for a delicious lunch! We finished our day with a much deeper appreciation for this remarkable area and would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Portugal. Outstanding experience

This was an exceptional experience in every way: Yes, the sites are beautiful and well worth visiting (we've all seen the pictures). But the tour itself is well organized and conducted. The small van is comfortable, air-conditioned, and makes it easy to interact with your fellow travelers. The transitions are planned well - the longest leg of the trip was about 1.5 hours. There is sufficient time at each site to give you a good overview of the highlights (so you can return and explore on your own later if you wish). But for me, the best part of this trip was our tour guide, Catarina. She was very knowledgeable, skilled, professional, yet engaging, funny, personable, and kind. Thank you, dear Cat, and I look forward to another tour with Lisbon Riders the next time I'm in Lisbon.

It is a beautiful sunset cruise. Great Explanations of historical monuments and scenic points is exceptional. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes. Bring a light jacket or sweater as it gets chilly. Eat dinner ahead of time. They do serve wine and some light snacks. The crew was very polite and knowledgeable and experienced. Delightful evening. Thank you so much! We loved it!!
