Itinerary
Start your day by taking a seat in an air-conditioned vehicle for your transfer. Embark on your journey to local vineyards, where you'll be treated to fine wines and views, and pass by the Duoro River along the way.
As your day goes on, immerse yourself in the winemaking process and take the opportunity to learn directly from the talented winemakers themselves. Then take a break to satisfy your hunger and stop to eat a delicious traditional lunch in the village of Pinhao. Of course, here you have the opportunity to sample multiple port wines.
After a full experience of enjoying flavors and aromas, make your way back in your comfortable vehicle.
As your day goes on, immerse yourself in the winemaking process and take the opportunity to learn directly from the talented winemakers themselves. Then take a break to satisfy your hunger and stop to eat a delicious traditional lunch in the village of Pinhao. Of course, here you have the opportunity to sample multiple port wines.

- Private option it's done in a private vehicle only with your private guide. The vineyards and rest of the locations are shared with other participants.
- Reschedulings with less than 24 hours before the start of the tour will be charged a 30% fee (subject to availability);
- Parents should bring the baby car seat ajusted to infant's age (1 to 3 years old). We only have seats available after 4 years old.
- We do not recommend that you book or schedule different activities at the end of the tour. Although the tour may last 9/10 hours, the duration may vary depending on traffic conditions and other factors.
- Please be aware that the activities which we visit, such as vineyards, restaurants, etc, are subject to 3rd party availability and other groups/participants may be with the your group during the experience.
- Schedules and Itinerary may change without prior notice.
- The pick-up service is only available for the ones that choose the options "Small-Group Tour - Up to 8 pp" and "Private Tour".
- Please make sure that you have breakfast. Keep in mind that we probably will only stop at the first activity. We may not have time to make a pit stop before arriving to the first vineyard.
- On the private option infants or childrens must be booked as an individual adult/place. Prices shown are per group/vehicle.

What a beautiful day we had wine (and port) tasting in the Douro region. The valley is even more beautiful in person!
Our guide, Rita, was funny, knowledgeable and generally great to be with! We learned a lot throughout the day and really enjoyed all the information. The wine and port were delicious as was the lunch.

The tour is really great. We were contemplating if we should do it or not but eventually, it’s a great thing we decided to do it. The door of valley itself is amazing wine region, especially the beauty of the tall mountains, and the Vineyard, which is very unique. We are from near Napa and still appreciate the region . The tour itself is great . We were in a small group . Great tasting experience and lunch and free flowing wine , maybe a bit too free flowing at the end lmao . All is all great for the price .

This was a wonderful day trip with a brilliant guide (Tiago) who was very informative. Each vineyard was interesting and of course the port wine was delicious. We would highly recommend this trip.
The lunch was yummy, really enjoyed it.

Vitor Alves was an excellent tour guide/driver. We did the three-winery tour and he made sure to get us where we needed to be, plus answered questions we didn’t think to ask of the other guides. We especially enjoyed his historical knowledge.

We had a wonderful day with Andre. Clean and spacious car. He was friendly, informative and knowledgeable. The day was very well planned out. We were never rushed and there was plenty of time to see each winery, wander around and take photos. We had such a lovely time we didn’t want the day to end.

This was a full day wine tour and it was great! Our tour guide was Pedro and he was wonderful. Pedro shared a lot of wine knowledge with us on the way to our tour. He even gave my husband and I some suggestions of regions to stop and try wine on our roadtrip from Algarve to Lisbon. We visited 3 wineries. The first one was very busy and a little bit rushed, but the other two wineries were wonderful! At the second winery, it was very small and family owned. At the third winery, we got to have a sit down lunch. It was amazing! We got salad, soup, bread, red and white table wine, and there was a fish, chicken, and vegetarian option for the main course. I had the chicken and it was delicious!

Great your gudie whom also drove the minivan. Finding the tour at the meeting point was a little chaotic but seemed to be the norm. Despite getting a fkat tire on his way to get us the driver was in excellent spirits. High energy, professional and knowledgeable. The wineraries we visited were very photogenic. Beautiful hill tops and layers of vineyards makes me want to visit this region again. Lunch was not that good felt to touristy compared to the other private locations we got to experience. Go for the wine tours not the included lunch.

Excellent trip, one of the best wine trips I have ever been on (I have been on a lot!) Pedro was a fantastic guide and his knowledge was fantastic!

A long day, but with the right tour guide, the time spent driving to Douro Valley provides opportunity to learn about Portuguese culture, landscape and history. João from E-Fun Tours made the day an amazing learning experience, and the vineyard sommeliers were very knowledgeable and engaging. Had a great time visiting the 3 wineries and our guide Vitor was amazing. Loved that each vineyard offered a slightly different vibe and experience - all wonderful. We learned something at each one. We did the small group option so besides there were just six of us altogether (our group if four plus another couple), which was great as it allowed us to be in a smaller vehicle so we could visit one of the smaller wineries. It also meant that we were picked up and dropped off right at our hotel - very convenient on a stormy day. Would definitely do again on our next visit!

Our host and driver were great! Smaller group made it better. Highly recommend doing the 3 winerys as the extra one was great. Only thing was we could have done one more as the tour was supposed to be 10 hours and was only 8. There was time to do either another winery or some other stop for photos or snack since we paid for the time and were back early.

Our family booked a private tour from Porto to the Douro valley to visit wineries. It was a smooth process from booking, to pick up, tastings, and return. We appreciated that the tours did not exclusively feature port wines but also the valley's reds and whites. The lunch was also able to be modified slightly on the fly for one member of our party that was gluten free.
But the true selling point was our tour guide, Tiago. I can't say express how incredibly knowledgeable and engaging he was. He provided facts and historical tidbits on the ride to the wineries to help the time fly, and knew we needed a relaxing ride home after touring all day. He also managed to sneak in a few extra stops for photos on the route and dropped us off in our neighborhood which wasn't originally available to book. I can't recommend booking with e.fun tours (www.efuntours.com) enough and personally asking for Tiago.

Loved our day trip to the Duora Valley from Porto! Our guide, Juliana, was excellent! She had a GREAT sense of humor and kept making us laugh. She was a great driver and really gave us the perfect amount of historical facts along the way. The vineyards we went to were diverse and excellent, and the lunch was particularly good.
