Lovely experience

As big wine lovers, we knew a Douro Valley wine tour was a must during our honeymoon, and it did not disappoint! Joana was a fantastic guide (and driver) who made the entire day enjoyable, informative, and stress-free. We visited two beautiful wineries, where we learned about the winemaking process and got a behind-the-scenes look at how the wines are produced. The tastings were excellent, and we appreciated how much we learned throughout the day. One of the highlights was the delicious family-style Portuguese lunch. There was plenty of food to share, along with generous pours of local wine, making it feel like a truly authentic experience. The boat ride through the Douro Valley was absolutely stunning. This tour was the perfect combination of wine, food, scenery, and local culture. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the Douro Valley, especially fellow wine lovers!

Great day trip definitely worth it and don’t be put off by the length of the day. Our tour guide Tania and driver julio were fab , gave us very interesting info and kept us entertained on the trip. The whole day was great , visited almarante town, Sabrosa for the wine tour had a beautiful lunch in a lovely setting then a drive to our next stop which was the boat trip on the Doura, then visit to Croft port vineyard with was beautiful. All in all an excellent trip

It is a beautiful sunset cruise. Great Explanations of historical monuments and scenic points is exceptional. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes. Bring a light jacket or sweater as it gets chilly. Eat dinner ahead of time. They do serve wine and some light snacks. The crew was very polite and knowledgeable and experienced. Delightful evening. Thank you so much! We loved it!!

Prepare for a fun, wet and thrilling ride!

Our original booking had to be cancelled due to rough seas but we were able to book in for the following day and fortunately it went ahead (tip to have as much flexibility as possible) We were on the water for about 3 hrs and saw hundreds of friendly dolphins, a whale, some beautiful and rarely seen false orcas and an inquisitive turtle! The guide was super informative and we came back with big smiles on our faces.
