Excellent no nonsense boat tour and great value for money. We didn’t get wet but it is windy so dress accordingly.

It does get chilly in the boat so bring layers. Sergio, Beatrice, and George gave an amazing tour, we’re so informative and made sure to give us all the recommendations our heart desired for things we would want to do in Portugal. The caves were absolutely gorgeous

Atlantis Tours is a great firm! Loved the speedboat tour!! Our guide Pedro was AMAZING and even got us singing!! He gave us hints on good shots, history of the area and great, non-dad jokes! I did not expect to be able to go into most of the caves. The colors in the caves were awesome. The meeting point is very close to the cruise port. If you want ship time or beach time this is the tour for you!!

Unfortunately I did not go on the tour because during check in one of the operators was very nasty and mentioned some nasty things about me in Portuguese, expecting me not to understand her. Instead of putting my safety in the hands of someone like this, I decided i didn’t feel safe enough to go along with the tour

If you are staying in the Portimao area and looking for something fun look no further. We had an amazing crew with Beatrice and Audriana they were super informative and were definitely keeping us on track! We were here for Afronation and this was a great ending to our trip!

Booked a boat trip around the caves as a last minute idea to fill the day. Was great value for money and is a great way to fill a morning or an afternoon. The guide was friendly and very knowledgeable and was really engaging with the customers. The caves were amazing and the coastline was fantastic. After the trip we went on to a restaurant that is part of the same company running the boat tours the food was great and really enjoyed it. We have booked to come to Portugal next year and will be booking the boat tour again.

The boat tour was good, but the boarding process was extremely disorganized and cumbersome. We had to stand in the heat for over 30 minutes with life jackets on. No shade! That part was horrible!

It's good fun and despite coming here for 10 years now, I saw places I'd never seen before. Its given my plenty of new places I'll be visiting next time. Boat was comfortable, places we stopped were lovely, it wasn't too long and what else can you get for €15 now? For 1:30 entertainment? I highly recommend.

Perfect way to see the caves and enjoy the coast. You see everything the larger boats do in less than half the time and were able to actually go into caves where the larger boats don't fit. Excellent no nonsense and very organized.

The tour itself was wonderful and the guide spoke many different languages to explain what we were seeing. Was a lovely tour.
Only issue was it was a little disorganized with groups of people being checked in and then standing in the hot sun. And there were no washroom facilities.

The Benagil caves boat tour was a solid 4 out of 5 experience. The ride itself was short but adequate, giving us a good look at the caves; however, it is rushed as all the boats move quickly through the main attraction. We were on a rigid inflatable boat (RIB) with row seating, which worked fine for the length of the trip.
That said, the experience felt fairly impersonal. Guests are lined up and filed onto the boat, and while life jackets were required, no safety instructions were provided beforehand. Once underway, it was difficult to hear any information from the guide since there was no microphone, and sitting farther back made this even more noticeable.
Overall, the tour felt basic but reasonable for the price, and it does the job if you just want a quick way to see the caves. I wouldn’t have wanted a longer trip in this setup. Next time, I would likely choose to kayak for a more engaging and personal experience.

The wind and waves were up high so it was too dangerous to go inside the caves (safety first) but we still took the coastal tour by boat. I’m really glad we did as it was a great trip, the guide Riu was great, really knowledgeable, fun and friendly. We decided to use their linked restaurant for lunch after which was perfect and just what we needed. We are definitely going to do this trip again when we return 👏
