Your first stop is Peso da Régua, a sprawling riverside town famed for its production of port wine.
Throughout the day, visit areas that show you the potential that the region has. Stop for a typical Portuguese lunch that includes three amazing dishes to choose from (fish, meat, or vegetarian).
Sated, board a boat and enjoy a river cruise down the Douro; delight in your beautiful surroundings before you return to the coach and travel to another viewpoint to capture sweeping panoramas of the landscape.

We recently took a trip to the Douro Valley with a short stay in Porto, and honestly, it was one of the most amazing experiences we’ve had.
Our guide Milena was wonderful. She was funny, engaging, and full of great stories, jokes, and little puns that kept us smiling the whole time. She really made the day feel special and personal.
The driver also deserves a big thank you. The roads in the Douro Valley are quite winding, but the drive was so smooth that we never once felt uncomfortable or dizzy, which we really appreciated.
The wine itself was beautiful, and the two wineries we visited were just as impressive. The local guides there clearly knew their craft and shared it with so much passion, which made the tastings even more enjoyable.
What we loved most was the atmosphere. It felt easy, welcoming, and like being among like-minded people, just enjoying the moment together.
If you’re in Porto, we truly think this is one of the best experiences you can have. We would absolutely recommend it.

We had a small group of 8 and it was a wonderful tour. We visited two Port vineyards: 1. a private family owned and 2. a large commercial vineyard. It was nice to see the contrast of the two. The lunch was wonderful and the cruise although short was relaxing with beaurtiful scenery. Our group was an international group made up of UK, US and Belgium folks that was really fun. Our tour guide was great and a local that was very familiar with the area. Overall, would recommend the tour.

Definitely a must great value 2 wineries with alot of tasting boat trip which was first class, included 3 course meal and a first class guide in Igor .When you book on this trip insist on Igor as your guide and Luna b driver who was exceptional ,at 70 euro,s per person you cant go wrong well done to you all

This was an absolutely incredible day in the Douro Valley. Our guide, Melina, was very helpful and funny. She was so fulll of energy, and shared the most interesting facts about the region. The drive was scenic and we were well taken cared of. It was a truly memorable experience.

Overall we enjoyed our day very much. The ride is long but so scenic going through the mountains and then down into valley. The river ride was ok, but we enjoyed seeing the vineyards from the bus coming down much more. The wine tastings were excellent! The lunch was absolutely delicious and the ambiance of the winery and cellar was fantastic! The two tastings were done excellently with wonderful guides and delicious samples. Learned a great deal about the wines and port of the area. Our Guide Miguel was exceptional. He went above and beyond to help his guests and keep everyone together and on time. He had a wonderful sense of humor and was very knowledgeable about the region and wines. Overall we truly enjoyed our trip. Would highly recommend. The opportunity to meet others who were participating, was also very enjoyable.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the wine tasting tour! Igor and the driver gave excellent service…including dancing and singing by Igor. The winery tour guides were knowledgeable and gave a lot of interesting facts for wine lovers! The first winery was quite generous with the pour and the meal was decent. The weather did not permit us to go on the cruise portion of the adventure, but they included an extra winery to make up for it! We would definitely do this tour again when visiting Lisboa! The scenery was absolutely breathtaking and we met some kind and friendly people!

My family did this tour and had a wonderful time! We highly recommend this tour. Our tour guide was Milena and our driver was Nuno. Milena was great! She’s full of energy and fun facts. She was so helpful with advice after the tour as well. The tour was at a relaxed pace. The 2 wine tastings we did and the meal that we had were wonderful! One of the highlights of our time in Porto. Thank you Milena and Nuno for an amazing day!

Manuela, our Tour Guide and Nunu, Captain of the Coach were excellent in their respective roles. Manuela was proficient about the history of the area, Duoro Valley, Porto, Gaia and Portugal. Additionally, she was very knowledgeable about the differing terror as we were travelling through several wine regions. The co-op port winery was excellent, where we tasted very good ports and lunch accompanied with wines were equally good. Kopke was another good port winery tour. Manuela was very efficient in managing expectations, the group and the tour! Nunu's experience captaining the coach was clearly evident in his maneuvering the various steep, curvy roads! CM Tour Company are well served and represented by the talented Manuela and Nunu!

This was a well organised and interesting excursion. Miguel, our guide for the day, was very knowledgeable about wine making in the Douro region and kept us well informed. Our excursion included lunch, with a glass of wine and two wine tasting sessions. The second was at the oldest Port lodge, dating from 1638. We also enjoyed a boat trip down the River Douro. Would recommend.

This tour was so amazing and worth it!!! Even for non alcoholic drinkers it was such an amazing experience. The views were beautiful and the bus was awesome too. Our driver was amazing (I think his name is Marcelle) and Ricardo our tour guide was amazing and funny. The food was pretty good, but the vegetarian option wasn’t that great. Overall wonderful experience and will be recommending this to everyone who visits Portugal!

Milena was a wonderful guide and Sergio a great driver for our trip to the Douro Valley. We were disappointed in going to a tasting room for our first stop instead of an actual winery when we were surrounded by them. The tasting was 2 small pours of a white and tawny port with not much info about the wines - or maybe there was but the woman speaking was trying to be quiet as there was a baby on the tour and she didn’t want to wake her (seriously!). After a so-so lunch we went to an actual winery and again were only given 2 small pours of a white and tawny port. Why not let us try rosé and ruby too? And why pour your entry level wines when we would have easily paid for higher tier if we tasted them! The boat ride was late in the day and very chilly. Time would have been better spent at another winery or getting back to Porto earlier. While the Valley is stunning, recommend going to Gaia and tasting higher end port instead.

Great day with Ricardo and Marcus. Ricardo was an exceptional guide, very funny and enthusiastic ! He also gave us a lot of informations. Would 100% recommend him.
Overall the day was great, we went to some amazing viewpoints and had a good guide at the first visit (blond lady, don’t remember her name).
At the first stop you can buy some tasty snacks at a cafe in front of the gas station.
Be careful because it was cold and windy on the boat (we went on November).
