This was the best tour. Kali had us entertained, informed and routed us through such a wonderful tour that other operators wouldn't know about. We appreciated her knowledge and background. We all thought it was a wonderful day out to the North Shore and back. Will recommend to all our friends.

This was a great private group tour for our multigenerational family of 7, with ages ranging 3.5-70+. I knew with little ones that we would not want to do a larger group tour, and am glad we chose this option. Not a lot of communication until the day prior when our guide texted us to confirm the tour. She was on time and was very patient and accommodating with our daughters, and gave great suggestions for itinerary modifications to account for their interests/extra time at certain sites. We did not hit everything on the list but that is completely understandable given our group.

The few stops we made were breath taking views.
We missed several sites per our driver. We had a list that was submitted and when I called out the places he had passed them up and said if we took time to view them, he other things we would miss. This person went top fast though the drive. He allow this is all the time were allowed. Which online stated more time. When we were at the Dole store he continue to stay with us, instead of giving us privacy. The price of this private tour, was over priced per what others got to see with their tour guides. We even gave up one site to see hoping to capture one on our list. And this process still caused us to lose our list wishes.
No I wouldn't recommend this private tour to anyone. I'll will choose the others used to view the island.

This tour was amazing. Our tour guide Ama was the best in the business. His knowledge, humour and ability to customise the tour to suit us was next level. The places we saw unforgettable. Ama went out of his way to assist us with our son’s engagement proposal. We found the perfect place and a cocktail to celebrate. The tour gave us a huge insight into Hawaii and its people. I 100 percent would recommend this tour to anyone. Thank again. Mahalo The Royals.

Not what we expected. Advertised 12 stop itinerary but not what we got. Guy was a half hour late for pick up then insisted we head back to resort at 3. He was passionate about Hawaiian history but came off bitter towards tourists. I felt like it was a taxi verse private tour. He took us to places then said I will meet you back at the front in x amount of minutes. Wish we could have seem more of the island.

Aloha Nicole, it unfortunate to hear about your experience with Ama, our top local tour guide. He is a Native Hawaiian. The Native Hawaiian culture values personal history, and he was sharing his place-based experience in an authentic way. The reason to book a personalized tour and have a local tour guide is knowing what is open and what isn’t, dealing with parking and traffic, choosing where you want to go and what you want to see and allowing everyone to relax and enjoy because no one has to drive around the island 6-8 hours. He was 10 minutes late due to heavy rain on H1, but he did inform you of the delay. According to him, you all had a great time and appreciated his service with a generous tip of $140. He reported that he took you to all the requested stops (Dole, Matsumoto, Waimea Waterfall, Coffee Farm, Diamond Head, Iolani Palace, etc.), with a lunch break in Waikiki. He picked you up from lunch around 3 pm and dropped you off back to your hotel on the West side of the island after 4 pm, spending a full 8 hours with you, which is the maximum for a day tour. We're sorry to hear that you were disappointed with this activity.

Ama was knowledgeable, friendly, and gave us plenty of options and information to decide how we want to spend the rest of our trip! We would definitely book another tour with him. We loved the beaches on the north shore, and the Japanese temple. We had amazing coffee on the way and our kids enjoyed the sights

We had a wonderful time and highly recommend Melissa. She really made our group feel like Ohana. We were three generations so that’s not always easy navigating things but she did. She was very kind and very knowledgable of Hawaiis history. So glad we choose a private tour with her!

Great tour. Low stress. Kids loved feeding fish and birds at the Temple and the chickens at the macadamia nut farm. At the farm you can crack the nuts and feed the chickens. One chicken, we named Leroy, jumped into the kids arms to be hand fed. Waterfall was a nice hike and fun safe swim. Finished up with Dole Whips.

We were on a tight schedule due to our early evening departure flight and our guide Tiho was very considerate & accommodating. In spite of our tight time constraints Tiho ensured that we saw all of the top sites on the island & he even managed to squeeze in a quick stop at Huli Huli chicken to appease hungry kiddos!
Tiho is a walking encyclopedia of knowledge and our tour was filled with both facts and FUN. We will be back & when we do another Tiho tour will definitely be on our itinerary. Many thanks to Spiritual Island tours and Tiho for an amazing day—Mahalo!

Ama was an amazing guide - friendly, knowledgeable, and totally flexible with our timing. We stopped over a dozen times, and spent as much or as little time as our group wanted at each stop. Ama found us a great lunch stop and gave great recommendations for activities for the rest of our trip. It was a perfect way to see nearly all of Oahu in a day.

Been in Honolulu for 8 days and decided to book a custom private tour and so happy we did this, the communication and organisation of our tour was awesome. Our tour guide Daniel was amazing, he New so much about Honolulu and took us to places you would not see on a tour bus. My mother who is 75 was with us and Daniel look after her wellbeing right through the day.

Ama was absolutely fantastic as a personal tour guide. He realised at the start that my mother would require some assistance getting in and out of the vehicle so he provided a small step ladder that made the journey more enjoyable for my mum especially.
His knowledge of the history of Hawaii and especially Oahu was informative.
I would recommend Ama as a tour guide to anyone.
The only downfall about this trip was that when we booked it said we would be provided with bottles of water and this didn't happen.
