Great tour of the Waimea Valley and the North Shore. John was a great driver and very knowledgeable about all of the different birds and flowers at the botanical gardens and waterfall. He also brought us to a surfing competition at Pipeline Beach which was incredible! John is very flexible and allowed us to customize our itinerary since we preferred a shorter experience. Highly recommended!

We wanted to go to the Dole Plantation and Waimea Falls and John was ablue to accommodate our request. His knowledge of Hawaiian history and his knowledge of the different types of Hawaiian vegetation was incredible. He was flexible with the itinerary and gave us options of various of sights to see on the way to and from the North Shore. I highly recommend John if you looking for a private tour of Oahu!!

We had an amazing personal tour guide, John, that shared lots of Hawaiian knowledge and took us around to some amazing places. We got to stop at turtle Beach and see the big turtles and then went to Waimea Falls where we had lunch and got to stroll through a beautiful botanical garden while John shared info with us of all the different flowers, trees, plants and birds. Then we had a refreshing swim up to the falls and John took some awesome pictures. We got to stop and check out the China man's hat and then Nu' Uanu Palo State Park to see an amazing view of Hawaii. John is a very pleasurable and knowledgeable tour guide. A big Mahalo shout out to John for making this an amazing memorable adventure for us. You won't be disappointed. 🌺🤙

We booked a private tour with John (Aina Explorer), and what a day! He picked us up promptly at our hotel, looked over our projected itinerary, made some suggestions for changes and additions, and we were off! We toured the North Shore of Oahu: beaches, lookouts, jungle areas and Waimea Valley. John is extremely knowledgeable about the island: history, plants, infrastructure, and he loves sharing his knowledge. He knows the best places to eat, where the restrooms are (!!) and he has a sense of where you want to go. He provided water, sunscreen and bug repellant. And not least of all, he is an excellent driver. What a day to remember! Thank you, John. Mahalo and Aloha!

Jon from Aina Explorer was amazing. The private tour was well directed and very informative. He took the time to explain and educate so many things from plants to birds creating lasting memories.
This was not our first visit to Oahu or tour. Having a private tour we were able to customize the attractions in which we were most interested in and able to not duplicate previous experiences. Would highly recommend a private tour.
At the end of the tour he forwarded all the pictures to us of what he had taken.
Would recommend this tour to all groups of all ages.

This was the best tour I’ve ever taken. John, our guide, was very knowledgeable, amenable to changes, professional and an excellent communicator. He took not only to the waterfall, but was also able to stop a several other spots where we took the most amazing pictures and even brought a camera and took great pictures and shared them. I highly recommend doing this tour. Great value and you are getting the best guide!
