Booked this tour on a whim last minute as I had an unexpected free afternoon and I’m glad I did. The small group tour was lead by Erin, who was wonderful. She was a wealth of knowledge of the area, from the history to the architecture. Highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to explore the garden district.

Excellent tour. Libby has extensive knowledge about any aspect of the Garden District that you can ask her. A multi-generation true NOLA local, her knowledge of the City and Garden District comes from her lived experience, not just books. Our tour was fantastic! Lesley, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable, telling us interesting stories and sharing the history of the city and the Garden District. The walk was perfectly paced, with a final stop in a lovely air conditioned shopping area. Lesley pointed out architectural details we would not have noticed ourselves. We could have just walked around the neighborhood, but hearing about the houses, the city, and its residents made it so much more special. This was a highlight of our trip to New Orleans!

Jackie was a great guide for thee tour in which I was the only participant. She was extremely knowledgeable about the Garden District and provided lots of insights and information about many of the homes on the tour. I initially walked to the tour beginning from a distance. She was great in assisting me to find transportation back to my hotel after the tour. Highly recommend the tour

This was an incredible experience. Libby was so knowledgeable and engaging. This was the perfect activity for our first day to get some general history of New Orleans but also dive deeper into the history of the garden district. She shared fun stories and even customized our tour to see some specific houses we were hoping to see. 12/10 recommend

Jackie was incredibly amazing! The stories were fantastic. She was so attentive to the group's interests. There were only 6 of us, but she made the Garden District truly come alive with her fascinating stories!

Erin is great. Not only is she super knowledgeable and passionate about NOLA and the garden district, she’s also familiar with the people in the neighborhood. The tour was engaging and informative and we even got to meet the neighborhood cats! Even though it started raining, Erin was professional and continued the tour in spots that were shielded . Erin is awesome and would highly recommend this tour!

We've been to NOLA several times over the years but had never taken a Garden District Tour. Jackie B. did an excellent job on our tour. We had a group of 8 of us that went on this tour and all of us really enjoyed the history and various stories of the beautiful homes in the District. Jackie knew so much about each house and really made it an enjoyable walking tour. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone who enjoys strolling through beautiful neighborhoods and learning the history of the district and the houses. Top notch!

The information was good and our tour guide Yvonne seemed very knowledgeable, about NO history, but at times it was a bit off putting, as she embellished with her own opinions. There was one lady in our group who was completely disrespectful and talked while the tour guide was talking. So much so that we could not hear what she was saying. That being said, since we were paying customers, I feel like it would have been prudent for Yvonne to interject in “her tour” and ask for some cooperation. Definitely not fair for the rest of us. Would have liked to have seen and learned about more houses.

It was a nice small group of about eight, and the tour was outstanding. Lesley was a fantastic guide, who gave us a lot of insight and also used her superpowers to keep us in the shade in the heat. Which was deeply appreciated. Had I not gone on the tour? I would've just looked around and said "gee that looks like a nice house" but because of this I gotta feel for the city, the history, and what is happening today. Very worthwhile.

This is an absolutely wonderful tour with Jackie. Wear comfy shoes to walk on old sidewalks and bring a hat and water bottle. The meet up point is perfect - a bakery with liquid refreshments available to purchase for the walk. Jackie was so personable, energetic, knowledgable and had the patience of a saint.
She relayed so much information at each house we stopped at and gave us a great knowledgable history of the cemetery we went by. Every house had a great story to tell and Jackie was willing to satisfy everyone's curiosity by answering questions - it was a very, very casual and interactive tour with lots of information from the past. We feel soooooo lucky to have signed up for this tour in this beautiful part of the city.
It was a 10 "star" experience - just marvelous.

Our tour guide, Jackie Bullock, was a true professional. She knew the subject matter extremely well and articulated the most interesting points about several of the most important homes and gardens. Jackie was well acquainted with the ownership history of numerous properties and woven her detailed knowledge into a linear narrative. She took time to answer questions and even recommended some excellent lunch ideas.
