What are people saying about Lisbon

Portugal travelers
Great experience and lots to see. Lengthy day with lots of walking, but well worth it.
We were disappointed, as this was to be an “English speaking tour”. Yet one couple spoke only French and the other Polish only. I feel bad for the Polish couple and additional time was required to inform the French couple. Not what was advertised or scheduled.

Excellent Tour
Joao was our guide he gave us excellent history of the Lisbon neighborhoods and the castle. Took us to see nice viewpoints. We had a snack and glass of wine along the way. We did the tour first day of our trip and it was a good way to introduce us to the city.

Tuk tuk tour
I booked thus tour online it was much better value than booking direct with the tuk tuk drivers. The communication and meet up arrangements were so well organised. The tuk tuk driver Carlos was fabulous so professional and very knowledgeable of local history

Perfectly as Planned!
I was traveling solo to Lisbon. I wanted transportation to my hotel to be set up in advance so it was one less thing to worry about when I arrived. My driver communicated with me frequently and waited for me to get through the LONG line at customs/immigration. My driver spoke English and had water waiting for me in the car. They were easy to find. My only complainant is that this was expensive. I had to pay the price of two passengers just because I was traveling solo. I would have rather paid half and shared a ride with another solo traveler, but I did not see that as an option with this company.

Great tour with Luis. He...
Great tour with Luis. He picked us up at our hotel, asked what we were interested in and gave us options, and was very fun and informative. Even went out of his way when one person in our party had a minor emergency, and needed the tour to take them back to their hotel.

Lisbon Tuk Tuk tour
We did a 3 hours tour around Lisbon and saw so many incredible sights. Our guide was incredibly knowledgable in Lisbon and Portugal and shred so much information with us to enhance the tour further. Our guide took us to various different view points away from the crowds to give us incredible views across the city. An excellent way to spend the day seeing the sights and exploring Lisbon.

Magical tour without the mystery
Van is a bit tight with three upfront, including the driver, three in the next row and three in the back. There are a lot of steps. Portugal is very hilly. You need to be in reasonably good physical condition. Fortunately, our guide, Pedro, was super helpful. There is not a lot of "on your own time" to look around, explore, shop. At the Pena Palace, we explored the outside of the palace, and none of our group chose to go inside, which is more expensive and means waiting in line, as well. We explored the outside of the palace, but did none of the gardens, other than what we could see from the walk up to the palace and from inside the "grounds" of the palace itself. After Pena Palace we went to the lighthouse and the eastern most part of continental Europe for about 15 minutes to take photos. Then we went to Cascais, which is where our guide was from. We were on our own for lunch, and they were wonderful choices. A group of four of us (three solo women and a 76-year-old man ate at John Bull. The Sea-bass was spectacular. Don't miss the Santini ice cream shop, which is also in other locations. It was started by Italians in 1949, the year I was born. Everything in Portugal is at a slower pace, less stress, more humility, civilized. Portugal is very diverse in all ways. Be sure to take a bottle of water, as well as appropriate for the weather gear, such as hats, sunglasses, jackets, whatever. I'm from Florida, and surprisingly, the sun can be quite intense here. It was a beautiful day.

Lisbon in an afternoon!!
We had Marcos the most wonderful tour guide! He showed us a great time and spent hours giving us a detailed history of Lisbon. We had plenty of stops for photos and enjoyed a great bakery where we had a delicious custard tart! Highly recommend this tour and ask for Marcos, the local celebrity!!

Best tour of Sintra!
Great tour of Sintra and other areas. The Pena palace and gardens are well worth seeing and our tour guide - Tiago - was very knowledgeable on the history of the palace and the area. He was the very best guide we could have asked for! I can’t stress this enough - if you want to see the Pena place & gardens - take this tour!!! You will
NOT have to wait in the very long lines to get in and you will get very good information about the history of the place and gardens. The lunch was fantastic! One of the best meals we had while in Lisbon! The other 2 stops we made were well worth it and both beautiful! Don’t hesitate a book your tour to sintra - you will not regret it!

Full day out, definitely...
Full day out, definitely the way to visit Pena Palace and Sintra - very busy even in April. V hilly, any mobility issues worth taking the shuttle bus (4.5 euros) but still need to be prepared for hills and steps. Enjoyed Cascais, appreciated the extra time (given 2 hours) by our guide Paulo as meant we had time to enjoy a walk along the sea-front and a leisurely lunch.

Appreciative Lisbon Newcomer
I recently moved to Lisbon and always enjoy taking local tours when I move to a new place. Miriam was enthusiastic, friendly, engaging, and highly knowledgeable about the city. It was a very comfortable afternoon, and I came away with a lot of interesting facts about Lisbon and culinary recommendations I might otherwise not have learned. Many thanks to Miriam!

Great time on Lisbon walking tour
Tiago was an exceptional guide who brought the history, culture and love for his city to life for all of us in his tour group. He went the extra yards to show us some absolutely hidden gems, shared with us knowledge only available to locals and we were all greatly enriched because of his wonderful sharing nature. I would highly recommend that if you want to get to know Lisbon Tiago is the guide you need.
