This was an amazing experience due in great part to our wonderful guide, Hugo. We gained a much deeper appreciation and understanding of Sintra and the other sights we explored thanks to his impressive knowledge and his passion for the history and beauty of this part of Portugal. He engaged with each of the eight of us, and was especially attentive to two young children in our group. I would highly recommend Hugo to anyone. My wife and I have done quite a bit of traveling in recent years, and Hugo is among the very best guides with whom we have had the pleasure of working. We have been in Spain and Portugal for about three weeks and have had many great experiences, but today’s trip was one that we will always remember and cherish.

We had a fantastic experience on our group tour to Sintra! Mario, our guide, was wonderful—knowledgeable, friendly, and entertaining. He did a great job keeping the group engaged while sharing interesting stories and history along the way. Lourdes, our driver, was also excellent—professional, friendly, and made us feel safe and comfortable throughout the trip. They both made the day enjoyable and stress-free. What a fun day! We had such a great experience with Pedro as our tour guide. He was super knowledgeable and took us everywhere safely! We got to Pena Palace early, so crowds were bearable. He recommended a great restaurant and gelato spot in Cascais. Highly recommend this tour!

Tuk Tuk Ride we booked

The trip was very good. Covering all the area and buildings with plenty of time for stops. When you leave the cruise ship in Lisbon the Tuk Tuk is just out side the fence. There are others you can book ,but I felt the information would not be as good . If you have children this is worth doing. As there are many hills and the heat in August is high. If you are there for 2 days on a cruise is is worth taking the trip on the first day so you can understand the area shops etc. The next day you can walk from the ship ( 15 minutes) to the shops etc. When you enter the shopping area again there are many Tuk Tuk carts, but ,they seem only to cover a very small area with very little information. So it is worth booking a good trip if in Lisbon for the first time. The children will like the fast up and down streets in the Tuk Tuk. If you need to see any area extra or stay longer looking at the area you can as they offer this service. Are trip was nearly 4 hours with a small walking tour at the end. Take some water on the day. And hold onto your hat.

The Best of Both!

This Tour is an Absolute Must if you have kids. I tried to book months ago and it was completely booked solid. Don't give up - check a few days before because people cancel their tickets maybe. I finally got three tickets for my husband, myself and my son of 9 yrs old!!! Worth every cent! The guide Maria was Outstanding- it was like a stand-up Comedy show - we all laughed so much! She spoke in several languages to accomodate everyone. Her knowledge was excellent and it was so so much fun. The adults enjoyed it too. The best thing is that you get a quick tour of the city And then you get a tour on the water too. It's literally The Best of Both!!! So glad we got tickets. Many thanks for a fun time.
