I’m a food-tour junkie, and this is one of the best ever.

I love to introduce myself to a city by taking a food tour…I’m not only interested in the food and drink, I also want to learn about and experience the new venue. And Raquel rocks! She is an exceptional guide, with extensive knowledge, not only of the local gastronomy, but also of Lisbon and its history. I can’t remember ever learning so much about a city while also tasting a large number of local specialties. The food was delicious and well-paced…we were never too full to enjoy the next dish. I could not recommend this tour more highly.

We Loved It!

Our family group loved this tour! Our (almost adult kids 18-20 yr olds) were able to participate. We tasted Portuguese flavors including fish, meats, bifana sandwiches and even green wine, which was surprisingly light, refreshing and delicious. The small group was just the right size too!

Fun yummy pastry class!

This class was so much fun! We slept through our original class time and the company was so kind to rebook for later that day. Adriano was our outstanding pastry chef teacher who was a perfect instructor for my 21 year old daughter and me. It was well paced and not rushed and felt we got our moneys worth and the natas came out so yummy. We’ve taken many other cooking and wine classes in different counties but this one really stood out and we will remember always! Definitely 5 star across the board.

Accommodating & incredible

This tour and company was fantastic all around. We had an issue getting back late from a different tour and Ruthy adjusted things for us to accommodate our late arrival. She made it very easy on us to arrive relaxed and ready to enjoy the experience. Our guide, Francisco, was incredible - knowledgeable, personable, and fun! The tastes of Portugal were phenomenal. Francisco provided great information and thoughtfully answered questions. We had a dairy-free person in our group and they accommodated her very well. She was very happy with the goats and sheep’s cheeses and really didn’t miss out on any tastings. We definitely left full and happy! There is so much food that I can’t imagine anyone leaving hungry. I would fully recommend this tour. Ruthy and Francisco are helpful and make the experience so worth while! 5 stars!

Pastries, bifana, seafood, oh my! A great way to learn Lisbon

Met up Guiherme at the John 1 statue along with 10 other food explorers and we were off! The walking tour takes you around the downtown Lisbon district and treats you to pastries, Iberian ham, bifanas, pasteis de nata, cherry liquer and then a seafood lunch. Gui did a great job pacing the group, telling background details of each visit/food along with general Lisbon knowledge. Overall a very fun and tasty way to learn Lisbon.
