Fun family activity

Such a fun experience! I had no idea how much work goes into such a small burst of flavor. Perfect for kids (and adults) of all ages. Perfect afternoon in Lisbon

There are some perfect tours where the guide is amazing, the other people are amazing, the weather is amazing and the food is amazing, this was one of those tours. Fred is an awesome guide. This is the rare tour where the included beverages are worthy of inclusion. It's too hard to pick a favorite moment, the whole afternoon was amazing.

Absolutely fantastic tour! Bianca had amazing knowledge of history and food of the area. Knowing the history of the buildings, neighborhood and food make it even more special. We visited family run restaurants and tasted a huge variety of drinks and food. A fun and informative way of getting to know Alfama!

Devour Lisbon Culinary Tour- a True Delight

My family and I had our first trip to Portugal last week and last Thursday we did our first ever food tour called Devour Lisbon. Our tour guide, Anastasia, was an absolute delight. We learned so much about Portuguese history in addition to the wonderful food. Anastasia was friendly and informative and took care of all her guests on the tour. There were several stops on the tour which included Portuguese pastries, the wonderful Bifana pork sandwich, Iberian ham & cheeses, Ginjinha cherry liqueur, a full sit down lunch, and ended with the Portuguese national treasure of Pastel de nata, a custard tart pastry. Our only regret is that we did not do a food tour sooner. If you go to Lisbon, definitely book this tour and book Anastasia. You won’t be disappointed.

Great Food Tour with Fantastic Portuguese Cuisine

I had an absolutely fantastic time on this Lisbon food and wine tour! From start to finish, it was a perfect blend of delicious flavors, local culture, and great company. Our guide, Sofia, was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate, sharing not just the food itself but the stories and traditions behind each dish and wine we tried. We stopped at several spots that I never would have found on my own, and got to taste sardines, seafood and rice, 2 variations of cod, bifana, as well as pastel de nada for dessert. We also had 2 different local wines, beer, and ginjanha. It didn’t feel rushed at all, and there was plenty of time to enjoy each stop, ask questions, and soak in the atmosphere of the city. If you’re visiting Lisbon and want a fun, immersive way to experience the local food scene, I can’t recommend this tour enough. It was easily one of the highlights of my trip!

Joanna was a great tour guide for our small food tour. She was knowledgeable about not only the food but some history about Portugal itself. Joanna made us feel comfortable and thus made interacting with our tour mates fun as well. She made sure to accommodate people who didn’t want seafood/had allergies. It was nice to try some popular foods that I probably wouldn’t order myself. Obrigada!

Exceptional food tour!!

Livia was an exceptional guide to the culinary delight and history of Lisbon! Our group totaled 8 people and I had an absolute blast. We tried a range of food including plenty of seafood, meat, the best cheese I've ever had (Serra da Estrela), African cusine, Green Wine, Port, Ginjinha, and so much more! Along the way we walked through 3 different neighborhoods (including Alfalma which was my favorite due to the narrow winding streets) and learned a lot about the history of Lisbon! I knew very little about Portugese cuisine going in, and I walked away with a much greater appreciation of what Lisbon has to offer. My only regret is doing this on my last night in town, I'd highly recommend doing it the first night you arrive if you're able to!
