What a day!

Gee what a day! Up early but back to enjoy the rest of the night in Vegas. Early start at 6.50am with Jessie (what a guy) and Ye the driver. First stop was the Hoover Dam to take photos and then on the way to the halfway pit stop/restrooms. Next up the Grand Canyon. Now don’t take too much time at the first stop because the views are at Guano Point and they are spectacular here. First stop you can get some photos taken of you (x2) and then purchase these at the gift shop. Lunch was great! And many options to choose from but this is at the first stop because the second stop has limited options. You’ll find that you will spend about 3 hours and this includes waiting for the transports to come and pick you up to drop you at the next stop - so realistically allow for 40 mins of queues and travelling between stops. The trip back everyone was tired and 80% of the bus was out. Jessie… Man he fantastic and knew everything about literally everything and such a nice guy!! Please allow for tipping for your driver and tour guide!! And if you can ask for Jessie to be your tour guide - lovely guy!

Perfect even though it was cloudy. Our guide showed us how to enhance our photos, where to take photos, explained certain formations. Be prepared for lots of ladders and skinny spaces to maneuver, but it all adds to the adventure. So glad I signed up for it!

Absolutely fantastic From booking to the helicopter ride I was nervous but it had been on my husband's bucket list so thought let's go for it ! He answered all of our questions and pointed out wildlife and plants during the tour! We even made a stop to see sheep! Well organised flight, Boulder airport is a 30 min drive out of Las Vegas. The pilot Mitch was friendly, informative and professional. The scenery over the Hoover Dam and then flying into the Grand Canyon was marvellous, setting down in the Canyon and then walking around the landing area, experiencing the majesty of the canyon walls rising above you. A real experience.

Great time and fun exploring!

My partner and I did the self guided trip and it was great! We’ve never done anything like this before and it was a ton of fun. We drove a lot slower than we probably needed to but we also just enjoyed getting out and taking pictures together and the beautiful skyline of Vegas. If you’re new and want speed, I’d do the guided ones because they know the area and hills you can go up and down on. They do a training before that was helpful but it can still be intimidating. It was a great time and shout out to Alex, Caleb, Jay and Rox who all waited until our uber came and picked us up as we were the last to leave. Everyone was so awesome. Thank you!!!
