This adventurous tour takes you away from the lights of the Las Vegas strip and out into nature at the Las Vegas dunes, where you can explore the rugged landscape by ATV. Note you must be over 18. Beginners are welcome, with an orientation and safety briefing provided.
Make your way to the meeting point on the Las Vegas Strip to meet your shuttle bus. Soak up the scenery on the drive to the staging area, where you’ll have an orientation and safety demo. All ATV drivers must complete the orientation before they are allowed to drive.
Hop on your ATV and follow your guide out into the desert to ride the trails around the dunes. At the halfway point, you'll stop at the top of a peak for an incredible photo opportunity of the Las Vegas Strip and the dunes. At the end of your tour, you'll be transferred back to the meeting point on the Las Vegas Strip.

We had Colby as our tour guide he was absolutely fantastic very friendly and funny. Would definitely recommend he even let us borrow his personal jackets as we were cold all round brilliant experience!

We booked an excursion on Viator that clearly stated 10 AM 3/22/2026. After arriving before 10 AM at a seedy location, outside a souvenir shop at the end of the Las Vegas strip and next to a rundown motel, we were told that our tour was 9:30 AM, instead of 10 AM.We were told that a text message was sent in a phone call was made, which both claims approving to be false. Our phone log showed no missed calls, which we have a photo record of. Our text messages show no messages sent which we have a photo record of. Absolutely no attempts was made to notify us of any change to the time. We were told that we missed our excursion. We were told that the problem was with Viator because this third party reservation does not have the exact time for excursions. However we found out that Viator was not the culprit but the operators were at fault because they did not make the change to our reservations through Viator. It has been proven that when Viator is notified that they do communicate the changes, which was done with us on other excursions that we booked through them. This particular vendor/operator " Nellis Dunes ATV TOUR is irresponsible and did not make any attempts to call or notify us of changes made to our reservation. Nellis Dunes ATV TOUR is highly disreputable and their practice unscrupulous and unacceptable. Of course they stated that there are no refunds. We are disputing this fraudulent practice and denial of service to our credit card institution and to the Better Business Bureau.

The ATV through the Dunes in the valley is a thrill ride. Going through the sands and the river beds where you see the mountains in background, the sands, and the plant life and the uniqueness of Nevada's landscape can be felt as you drive on ATVs which makes you feel as if you are a racer. I loved it and will oneday do it again. Would come back to vegas to do this again

This was such an amazing experience...we (my husband & I) had a GRAND time...was nervous initially but thankful for the gift shop nearby the pickup location they advised us handy articles such as a head scarf to wear under the helmets provided. Then the opportunity to pose with the tour guide's ATV. We got some super good pictures.
