Your Grand Canyon helicopter tour starts with pickup from your Las Vegas hotel by luxury van.
After your transfer to the VIP heliport at the Harry Reid Airport, you'll receive a warm welcome from your pilot and receive a safety briefing for your flight in a state-of-the-art A-Star helicopter. Then take to the skies for your flight to the Grand Canyon. You'll get amazing views along the way, passing over Hoover Dam, Lake Mead, Fortification Hill and the dark volcanic cliffs of the Black Canyon.
When you approach the Grand Canyon's west rim, your pilot will fly you through the canyon to look at the colorful rock walls and the Colorado River, then follow the path of the Colorado River past rock formations that formed millions of years ago. Keep your camera handy for photo ops of cathedral buttresses, sculptural rock pillars and enormous canyon expanses everywhere you look.
During the return flight, see other natural wonders such as the rugged Mojave Desert wilderness.

You are at the mercy of other travelers. If they cancel and no one else takes their place, there aren’t enough people to fly. They try to reschedule you again and again. My tour was eventually canceled because I couldn’t have them continuously juggle me around as I had other commitments on my vacation. I was not aware they aren’t very busy and have a hard time filling up a helicopter. My first time being on this side of the country so I was very disappointed.

Thank you for your feedback. We disagree with your review. We strongly recommend that you read Viators important information that clearly states that Grand Canyon helicopter flights require a minimum number of passengers to operate. Your Viator voucher clearly states that there is a possibility of cancelation after confirmation if there is not enough passengers to meet requirements. Our Reservation Team extended several alternative departure times, which your refused. Private flights are available for up to six passengers.

Just do it! You won't regret it! Are you a lazy girl like us? Is it hot? If yes, this is for you. Joe, the driver was chill when my sister didn't bring her ID and waited for her to go back and get it. Our pilot, Mad Dog (not a real dog) Mike took us on a great flight.

It’s worth doing this trip, it will leave you speechless. The pilot was very knowledgeable about the whole area you fly over not just the canyon. He engaged with all six passengers. From the moment we were picked up from our hotel we were greeted by friendly staff. Probably one of the best holiday trips I have ever done!!!

This was amazing. I have always wanted to ride in a helicopter and this trip didn't disappoint. The pilot was awesom, we got to sit in tue front. I would highly recommend Velator and this trip!

The crew is well prepared, safety is a priority, and the pilot is very knowledgeable about the history and current affairs of the area. The food at the ranch was great, the wooden furniture was authentic, and we had a lot of fun at the range. I would definitely recommend.

An excellent service from start to finish. Collected at hotel 5 mins to 5 star departures. Our pilot Eddie was fantastic, his commentary and knowledge geographically, historically of the area was amazing. The actual tour over the strip the dam and the canyon was brilliant. Amazing all around! Our pilot Lucas was fun and full of great facts and history. There is a trade off of not standing physically on the edge, but this way allows you to see so much more. Oh and a flyer over the Hoover Dam as well!

Our captain Lucas was excellent. Very energetic, knowledgeable, and trustworthy with the helicopter. We had a great time seeing the remarkable landscape and cityscape. This was a great trip and very much worth the time! Shout out to Joe as well (our driver)! He was very friendly and got us to and from the airport without any issues.

The entire tour was fantastic and worth every penny. Communications and pick up/drop off were great. Our pilot/guide was very friendly and informative, telling jokes in between facts and stories.
The views of course were amazing, not just the Grand Canyon but also Lake Mead, the Hoover Dam and Las Vegas.
I suffer from motion sickness (back seat of the car, some theme park rides, etc.) but had no issues in the helicopter. The ride is very smooth and the aircon keeps you cool.

Excellent experience. We opted for the 90 min flight. Was worth every penny. Apart from the breathtaking scenery, the whole experience was highly satisfying. The pilot was knowledgeable and overall the experience felt safe. We travelled as a group of 8. However the helicopter can hold 6 guests. Short 10 min drive from our hotel on the strip to the helicopter.

Pilot was amazing but our seats were bad. Couldn't see out the windows because they were obstructed and foggy. Definitely not worth the money we spent on the tour.

This tour was worth every penny! The tour company was very organized. Communication was excellent and information about the pickup time, location, the lunch choices, and optional activities at the ranch was clear.
The helicopter pilot was great and gave a nice overview of the sights we encountered during the flight. Do be sure to prepare beforehand if you are prone to motion sickness.
We selected the tour that included 2 hours at a ranch and we enjoyed our time there! We loved interacting with Cowboy Dave and had a lot fun at the gun range. The instructor was patient, safety conscious, and helped make our time with him a memorable experience.
