The Maverick Sunset Tour is fabulous. If you are in Vegas and interested in Grand Canyon and flight over the city you have to take this tour. It was wonderful! Our guide was fantastic and full of knowledge, we stopped at a wonderful spot to explore and have snacks at a picnic table in the canyon. You have to take this tour - - it's a great experience.

Get picked up at your Las Vegas hotel and ride to the heliport.

Board an Eco-Star helicopter for your sunset helicopter tour of the Grand Canyon. While you make your way to the canyon, fly over Lake Mead and the Hoover Dam, taking in stunning views. You can also put on headphones and listen to fun facts about the Grand Canyon as you soar.

Once in the canyon, your pilot stops your ride for a quick break. He or she lands your helicopter on a private bluff for a Champagne toast and a light snack where you can sit under a Native American Ramada shelter. This bluff sits 3,500 feet (1,066 meters) below the canyon rim and offers views overlooking the Colorado River.

Afterward, get back into your seat aboard the helicopter, and enjoy the return flight to Vegas. As you fly toward the Vegas Strip, notice the lights lit up below. Take a van ride to your hotel with the whole night still free to explore the casinos and hotels on your own.

Sunset tour Grand Canyon Awesome trip, well worth the money. Plenty of time for night life after the trip. Is a little cramped if you are over six feet and 200lbs, but not bad, bigger than that might be a little squeezed, but flight are not that long with the landings.

A brilliant trip, but with some shortcomings which were- for us as follows: Onboard info through headphones poor quality - crackling and with bits missing off the start of each section. But the music choice was great. The Pilot's briefing seemed rushed, robotic and therefore sounded in-sincere. Prior to take off he asked if anyone needed a language other than English but the head phones only had English!! Our meeting instructions were "Paris hotel / Horseshoe" your office might understand this but we didn't!! , this is totally confusing because that's too separate hotels, and we almost waited at horseshoe hotel instead. VERY confusing for strangers. We called the Maverick office for guidance and were told to meet at Paris hotel / "sports bar "door. There isn't one! after studying the hotel map and asking around -we had to back to room and call Maverick again. This time we were told to meet at the door next to "sports book" . We asked around and found this, but if hadn't called the office (twice) we would have missed a prepaid trip, and would be very disappointed and angry. How difficult would it be to improve the meeting instructions and perhaps provide a simple hotel map- remembering that you providing a service perhaps to overseas strangers. . When not being picked up at the main door- it was very difficult for us to know where to meet..

Did this tour based on a recommendation from a friend. It did not disappoint. From the pick up to drop off the tour was smooth and enjoyable.
