“ Convenient ”& “worry free”!!
The Iceland Bus Transfer is worry free option to get from the remote airport to Reykjavík. I’m from Southern California. The trip from Los Angeles to New York and from New York to Iceland is quite a journey. Not having to worry about getting into my hotel was a blessing. Having the transfer pre-booked was worry, free. After you leave customs and grab your luggage. The buses are conveniently located right outside. The the staff was very helpful and considerate, the buses were very comfortable, and again it was seamless and were free! I would absolutely recommend this service to anyone traveling in Iceland!

Great way to see Iceland scenery with a personal touch
Jon is personable, informative and accommodating. He will take you down some back roads to find the hidden side of Iceland. While there were only two of us, he can accomodate a larger group with a different vehicle. I have already encouraged my son to contact Jon and go with a group of friends.

Trail ride delight!
We got super lucky and had a sunny but snowy day to enjoy a trail ride on Icelandic horses! Our family of 4 has various levels of riding experience and they accommodate people of different levels within the group. Three of us got to try a faster pace of riding called tölting. They have layers you can wear for added warmth such as overalls as well as rain gear available. The guides were very friendly and helpful. Excellent experience for horse lovers and newbies alike! This was a quick drive from central Rekjavik.

Golden Review
What a great tour. The national park, waterfall, crater, and secret lagoon were amazing. The winter landscape made it that much more magical. Our guide Andres made sure that my wife knew we were celebrating her birthday. We would totally recommend the tour and Andres!

Eva made it even better!
Very lucky we had EVA as guide. She compensated, by far, the extremely adverse weather conditions we faced throughout the whole journey. Joyful, funny and energetic made us appreciate the scenery, history and traditions. Kept us informed about weather and actions to be taken to ensure our safety.

Excellent walking tour with a local guide.
Marteinn was brilliant - engaging and knowledgeable. A couple didn't manage to get there on time, but he did as much as he possibly could to ensure they could catch us up, which, unfortunately for them (because they missed a great tour experience), they didn't.
As a local, we learned a huge amount about Icelandic and Viking history from him, right up to the present day. He demonstrated a good sense of humour and shrewd level of awareness to encourage debate without getting too controversial. The group was small (8, but should have been 10) and that made it feel more personable. Not too strenuous physically and taken at an easy pace, with the occasional opportunity to shelter from a biting wind and he ran perfectly to time.
Marteinn was able to give guidance and recommendations on how to get the best from our holiday as well. He showed genuine interest in his guests and we felt valued as a result. A great experience. Thank you Marteinn.

Personal and interesting
I’ve done tours and experiences in the past in Iceland and have found that you essentially follow the same formality.
With a personal tour you can choose how long or shorty you stay somewhere and have the flexibility to add extra stops and see more things than on a larger tour. The guide was so experienced and told stories along the way…worth the money!

Found them!
We found the whales and the boat made circles around them so we could all see them, followed them for some time. There was much information about whales in particular but also about wildlife in Iceland.
With your ticket you will get a huge discount (50%, I think) in the museum Whales of Iceland which is near the harbour and really worth visiting.

Golden Circle Tour
Entertaining and informative tour with our guide Dominika who provided guests with a brief history of each site explaining the geology interspersed with local music and personal stories. Observed the incredible tectonic rift at Thingvellir, the breathtakingly frozen Gullfoss waterfall, steam vents and geysers including Stokkur water spout and finally a relaxing visit to the world famous Blue Lagoon. Definitely recommended.

Interesting guided tour of Reykjavik
Our guide Bo was fabulous and struck the right balance between local knowledge and history, political humour, stories and legends. It was a very relaxing couple of hours at a leisurely pace and we left knowing more than we could have learnt had we wandered around on our own. Would thoroughly recommend.

Great afternoon with Thorir in Reykjavik.
Great introduction to Reykjavik. We drove all around town with Thorir, who provided an excellent background information about Iceland and Reykjavik history, politics, religion, city life, things to see and do, shopping etc etc. Very comprehensive and interesting! Went to Aurora Borealis Museum and lava flow adventure in Harpa Coference Center. Thorir was a great guide--very knowledgeable, flexible and friendly. Would recommend this tour as a great way to start your visit to Reykjavik and Iceland!

You must experience the Blue Lagoon!
The Blue Lagoon was awesome an experience and we would do it again. We found 2 hours was enough time for us. The bus ride was comfortable and interesting scenery/topography enroute to the Blue Lagoon. We are on a cruise, and we amazed at the difference in between Reykjavik and other ports. Beautiful country! The only negative comment is my wife wanted private a changing room and we booked the premium package with a "comfort entrance" and even messaged tour operator after we arrived in Reykjavik about "private changing rooms" we were assured we had this included. There are no private changing rooms. It really is no big deal, as there are multiple separate rooms, for both men only and women only and it was not an issue. The staff was very helpful.
