The Blue Lagoon is one of Iceland's most visited sites, and without prebooked entry, access is not guaranteed—the lagoon operates on a timed entry system that regularly sells out, particularly during peak season. This half-day package includes premium admission with a towel, bathrobe, complimentary beverage, and a silica or algae face mask, plus transfers to and from the lagoon.

We pick up from all hotels/guesthouses/apartments/ports in Reykjavik. Due to local regulations, certain hotels/guesthouses/apartments do not allow for lobby pick-up. Guests will have to go to the nearest bus stop for the pick-up. Please note that pick-up starts 90 minutes before ticket time. For Reykjavik pick-ups from the hotel or nearest bus stop, you will be picked up with a minibus and transferred to the Bus Terminal to join a coach bus that will take you to the Lagoon. You will be dropped off at Blue Lagoon. The same procedure is applied for the return to Reykjavik. The minimum age for using the Blue Lagoon is two years old. This is because children younger than two are highly sensitive to the water's elevated mineral content. Children aged 8 and younger must wear floaties. These are available at the entrance to the lagoon and can be used free of charge. Children under 2 are welcome in the facility but the parent has to take turns sitting with the child outside of the water. For the Hotels and accommodations located in Keflavik Town, the shuttle bus pick-up is handled from the Keflavik Airport. If a direct hotel pick-up is needed, a private transfer is required. Shuttle Schedule: Keflavík Airport – Blue Lagoon Keflavík Airport to Blue Lagoon Departures: 07:30 | 09:30 | 12:30 | 16:30 Blue Lagoon to Keflavík Airport Departures: 12:00 | 14:30 | 16:00; Shuttle transfers are shared services, meaning you’ll travel with other passengers; it is not a private or small group transfer option.

The whole trip was well organised. Blue Lagoon was a fabulous experience so relaxing. When we got back to the coach station, the mini bus was full, which left us without a ride. The mark of a company is how they deal with problems. Within 5 minutes we were on our own mini bus straight to our hotel. Staff and drivers were very friendly and helpful. Definitely would book with them again.

Paid for transportation. Transportation schedule had changed without notice, and we missed the bus, as it only came every 2 hours now. So as not to miss our time at the Lagoon, had to take a taxi for $90. Was very unorganized

As explained on the day of your tour, the Blue Lagoon transfer schedule has been fixed for many years, with departures at 7:30, 9:30, 12:30, and 16:30, as clearly stated in the product description.
While we understand that missing the 7:30 AM departure was frustrating, the 9:30 AM transfer would still have allowed you to enjoy your visit, as your Blue Lagoon ticket is valid for entry at any time during the day.
Our team is always available by phone to assist with scheduling concerns, and we would have been happy to advise you on alternatives to avoid the additional taxi cost.

Never made it, my flight was diverted by FAS due to bad weather in Boston, missed connection with Icelandair. We arrived 24 hours late to Reykjavik.

Very responsive travel agency. Quick to answer questions. Bus pick up at the cruise port is a little confusing but that is not the operator’s fault. Pick ups to the Blue Lagoon and KEF airport were on time.

Transportation was a cluster. This tour's transfer is a provided by shared service. There wasn't any representatives on site at cruise port. The directions sent to find the busses was inaccurate. The port directions are clear, so follow those instead.
We were piled onto a city type bus without direction that we would be transferring busses again. We were dropped at a gas station where we were supposed to get on another bus. Unfortunately, the planned bus did not have enough seats and a larger bus was dispatched quickly. We got on our way and arrived about an hour later than planned.
I will say (and why they didn't get a lower score), Marina Travel was quick to respond and provided updates to the transportation problem. Yet, it wasn't a great start to the tour.
Once we arrived, the blue lagoon was a great experience. It was clean and although there were many people there, it didn't feel crowded. As long as you move away from the main area with the bar and masks, you can find a nice spot to enjoy the experience.
The transportation home again was also a cluster without clear directions and we were lucky to get on a bus. However, they didn't have enough transportation for people wanting to return it the designated times.

the agency that viator subcotracted with did not provide good communication re pick upu point and i ended up spending 170 dollars out of pocket to get to blue lagoon where i could spend only 35 minutes in the lagoon in order not to miss the transfer to airport

The Blue Lagoon was awesome an experience and we would do it again. We found 2 hours was enough time for us. The bus ride was comfortable and interesting scenery/topography enroute to the Blue Lagoon. We are on a cruise, and we amazed at the difference in between Reykjavik and other ports. Beautiful country! The only negative comment is my wife wanted private a changing room and we booked the premium package with a "comfort entrance" and even messaged tour operator after we arrived in Reykjavik about "private changing rooms" we were assured we had this included. There are no private changing rooms. It really is no big deal, as there are multiple separate rooms, for both men only and women only and it was not an issue. The staff was very helpful.

Directions for bus pick up were based on a building which was no longer there. Despite arriving 10 minutes early, in the general area for the pick up, the bus was missed. Staff at the port were as mystified by the directions given as we were and calls to the bus provider received no response. We had to take an, expensive, taxi to the Blue Lagoon.
The instructions given were woeful, the bus, apparently, waited only 4 minutes despite passengers being missing and the number given to call, in case of problems, was unresponsive.
I can not recommend the experience.

We understand your frustration and disappointment regarding the transportation part of your tour.
Even if there area is in constant change due to construction works, the blue pillars and the link location transmitted remain the same. Especially when the workers in the Cruise Terminal can assist the travelers with directions to the bus stop.
As this is a shared transfer for more than 40 people, it falls on the customer to make sure that they are at the right place and at the right time as per the instructions provided in the messages sent, as well as the attached tickets on Viator.
As previously instructed, the pick-up can happen anytime between 08:30 and 9:00 from all the pick-up locations within the Reykjavik area. This does not mean that the bus will be waiting for 30 minutes at each bus stop, but just a few minutes until the passengers waiting there are embarked.
Additionally, we have never had the chance to assist you with this transfer since you never called us in the morning. If you had contacted us while you were struggling to find the bus we would have directed you to the right location or rescheduled you for the next bus in case you missed it. Same as we did for your return transfer when you finally reached us by phone call.
Once again, we apologize for any inconvenience caused and hope you have a nice and relaxing experience at the Blue Lagoon.

Unfortunately the bus running from the airport to the Lagoon was an hour late due to road closures due to recent volcano activity. It would have been nice to have been given a text noting this so we didn't have to spend so much time waiting as we had taken a taxi from our hotel to the airport for the pickup. The bus pickup was very unorganized and it was just luck that we found the right one. No announcements as to the fact that they were there. Also due to said road closure, we only had about an hour and a half to spend at the Lagoon. We had purchased the Premium package which included two drinks. We had to down these pretty close together to be out and ready for the bus pickup. Hard to justify the expense of this for just an hour and a half. Also a mention of the fact that it must be a half mile long walk to the entrance would have been nice to know ahead of time. Plus the walk was outside and it was in crummy, very windy and rainy weather (which I know you can't do anything about), but for someone who might have had mobility issues, this would have been important information to have known ahead of time.

The Blue Lagoon was very relaxing and the masks we were able to try made our skin feel wonderful. The communication from Marina Travel was top-notch - they even called me the morning of pickup to ensure I would be in the right place and looking for the right bus. The price of this tour was also less than our cruise excursion to the Blue Lagoon have been. Highly recommend!

The pool had been closed because of the fisher that had opened up near by. Luckily it opened up while we were visiting.
Very expensive but an amazing experience
The pool geothermal pool was really warm . Plenty of facilities, showers and toilets etc.

Is there any possibility you requested for 2 drinks on only one wristband (instead of separate wristbands)?

Very pleased with my trip to the Blue Lagoon. Pick up transfer ran smoothly.There was little glitch on the return transfer when we arrived at the Bus Terminal there didn't appear to be a bus to deliver some of us to the Bus Stops in downtown Reykjavik. A driver of another mini-bus stepped up and added a number of us to his drop off list. Not sure who was at fault but it was quickly resolved. I will use Viator again in my future travels.
