What a great tour. The national park, waterfall, crater, and secret lagoon were amazing. The winter landscape made it that much more magical. Our guide Andres made sure that my wife knew we were celebrating her birthday. We would totally recommend the tour and Andres!

The birthday of your wife wasn´t just a birthday since it is the big one. I believe that for such an occasion, something extra must be done.

We really enjoyed this private tour. Our guide was friendly and informative. We were picked up directly from our hotel and explored several locations on the golden circle. There were a few surprises like a trip to an organic ice cream shop inside a dairy. You don't want to miss it! The massive waterfall was one of the most awe-inspiring sites I have ever seen and there is a great story to it as well. Ended with a relaxing soak in the secret lagoon...perfect way to end the day. We never felt rushed and had an amazing time.

Private trip was best way to go. Our guide Andres was a local who shared interesting facts and stories and background that were special. Also gave us the flexibility to stay as little or as long as we liked at the various stops. and offered to go off script to a local farm for special organic ice cream. Picked us up at cruise terminal and dropped at hotel. Then suggested best sites to visit the next day in Reykjavik based on our interests. Great day! Highly recommend Andres.

Thank you for this really good review. About flexibility. I am a person who doesn´t want to be rushed from anyone at any time. In the same way I giving back on the tours and in my private life. In that way, some things may go slower, but in the end, the result is better, I believe.

We had a fabulous day traveling with Andres! He gave us lots of time at each stop along the circle to take in each of the amazing sights. The weather was finicky but we were still able to watch the geyser go three times and saw a rainbow at Guillfloss Falls. Our day ended at the secret lagoon which was a perfect ending to a stunning day. Would highly recommend this tour with Andres.

I didna similar your with a different company in December of last year, that tour was good, but do yourself a favor and book a private tour with Arnes! He was absolutely delightful and very educational. Our experience was his paramount concern throughout the entire trip. His private tour also gives you an experience you can't get from a larger group. His price is more then fair for this tour, well worth the money. My girlfriend and I will be using Arnesen again the next time we're in Iceland!

Andres made us feel safe - escorted us everywhere - was not rushed - tailored the tour to us specifically and our interests and even made a special stop at a local grocer to buy authentic candies for our kids. His knowledge is extensive and his English was great. A fantastic day !

Great tour with Andres. We were on a cruise ship and needed flexibility so we could safely make it back to the ship in time. Andres was able to take us to all the special places without feeling rushed, and provided great information. Very enjoyable tour.

Andres is knowledgeable, funny, respectful and accommodating. May be the best tour I ever went on. We were smiling the whole time. He patiently took photos. He even took me to a local gem wool store. We had a magical time. Highly recommend.

Thank you for this very good review and opinion. On each time I go on the tour without pretending and with a mind about how I wish to have my vacation. The answer is simple. I want to be happy and return home happy. The same means for all other travellers not only me when I travel privately with my family.
About the local wool store. I have so outstanding travellers so believe me. I wouldn´t do that extra drive only for 0,09% of my travellers yearly. It means I am happy to make it for you, since you told me on the way back to Reykjavik, that you are much into wool. So why not? Go on. Shop and and I am happy about that.

Andres was wonderful. He was very knowledgeable about the area, and we had great conversations in the car. As we were on a cruise ship, he adjusted the start time so that we could leave earlier and do everything that we had wanted to do, while getting us back to the ship in plenty of time. I would highly recommend booking with Mercury Grail for your Iceland excursion!

The weather was damp and dreary but Andres was very interesting and passionate about how work. I was glad we were not part of a large tour as I would not have wanted to spend time waiting at each stop. Unfortunately our dream is seeing the Northern Lights was not to be but Andres offered to come back and get us if the cloud cover broke- he texted us later and it was still too cloudy but we greatly appreciated his offer. I recommend his services to anyone.

My knowledge of Japanese langauge is very much limited, so taki taki, was somehow a repetitive word during our tour. I also enjoyed your tour since you came to Iceland as we know the Japanese nation. Mannered, respectively, easy going and more could be counted on you. On that way travelling isn´t difficult, for you as customers and me as operator. It is true, I was trying to speak slower since each missed word could be the end of a conversation. There is also more difficult and longer explanation what I didn´t told you. It will followed on our private conversation media.
